So I'm learning C# (Java done right deal with it). I hope to get good enough at it to make at least 2D games in the future and maybe a useful program here and there. Any of you guys using your programming language for the good of video games? Post your work or discuss game programming in general.
Check out my first text based H game. I'm reading an e-book and after a chapter I want to practice what I learned so as to not forget what certain things do. It's console based. Hopefully my next bad creation will be a windows form application type

edit:
You're going to need .NET 4 frame work installed to use anything that I post since I'm using that framework.

None.
I only know how to use Pascal. And it seems like Pascal can only be used for text games, so no

So then pick a language and get to learning bro. It's fun if you put your mind to it.

Just so you know,
XNA is built on the .NET framework, so you could use that since you're going with C#. I made a vertical scroller in a couple weeks with it.

Yea that's what I was aiming for. I'm using Visual Studio C# 2010 express with XNA although I'm not using the XNA part. Can you make PC games with XNA to distribute for free without needing a creators club account thing? I don't care for making xbox or w7 games.
None.
I liked the part where I fucked my sister.

Yes? I think the Creator's Club is just a community, and you don't need to meddle with them at all.
The interesting part about XNA is that it supports Xbox/W7 phones whether you like it or not. The only difference (for Xbox, at least) is input, so if you abstract the input to an interface, you can create a concrete PC input class and an Xbox input class and suddenly have support for both the computer and console.
I took an XNA class, and I have a pretty good book that covers 2D games and sounds in the first few chapters. The professor that taught the class wrote the book, so we basically followed it. If you want it, hit me up with a PM.
AFAIK, it should also natively support an Xbox 360 controller that you hook up to your computer, whether wired or through the USB wireless receiver.
None.
Yes it can. I'm pretty sure current generation controllers can simply be plugged into the comp to be used as gamepads. Sadly I don't have an xbox controller but I don't plan on doing anything xbox related. If I wanted to, besides needing the club membership, all I would have to do is add the code for xbox controller support and that's it. Super convenient but I could care less for W7 phone or xbox.
made my first windows game file with sprites that bounces off the edges of the screen. Feels good man :3

Id help, but I need scripting support ;o
