Anyone here an NBA fan?
I will say I am an ardent San Antonio Spurs fan (yes, we are an oppressed minority, even in Texas). However, as of today they are 1-3 against the Grizzlies in playoffs so I am a bit depressed. If the Spurs lose, my heart will move on to Kevin Durant and the Thunder. Sorry to all you west coasters and new englanders but I can't stand the Lakers or the Celtics ;D
None.
Spurs suck. Lakers suck. If they beat the Hornets, they'll lose eventually. Thunder are coming out of the West. Heat can't control the Celtic's awesomeness, and the Bulls are too young to stop the Celtics as well. Celtics vs Thunder, Boston wins.
I think the only reason why the Lakers do well ever is because we will all be shot during a riot if they don't. I don't feel like dying, so I hope they don't blow it.

Thank you Gary Neal for saving our season. At least, for one more game

Go Mavs.
As a spurs fan it pains me to root for the Mavs but I will pull for any Western Conference Team (except for the Lakers) over the Eastern Conference Team any day.

Basketball still exists?
More so than the NFL ATM
Lol so true!
And also, I wouldn't expect many people to reply to this....
I assume most people on sen are not athletic

Fatties like watching sports. Athletes just play them.
Way to propel the stereotype that nerds don't like sports. I love basketball, I root for the Dodgers all the time.
I've actually been a Lakers fan all my life (even when Del Harris was the coach and they couldn't win anything to save their lives), but haven't watched a game in years. I think I lost interest around the time Shaq left and the Lakers were like OMG LET'S MAKE A SUPER TEAM FULL OF NBA ALLSTARS and failed miserably.

I'll propel it by living it. ;D
I'd be more indifferent towards sports if it didn't interrupt the very little TV I enjoy watching.

I can empathize, because I can watch marathons completely entranced.

Congrats Dallas Mavericks. Way to represent the state of Texas.
You'll always have next year LeBron James, you're still young. Even if you do win one, people will more likely see it as Dwayne Wade's second championship rather than Lebron's first.

Congrats Dirk Nowitzki. Way to represent the federal republic of Germany.
But joking aside, impressive last 2 games. Barea quickened the pace of the Mavs game which the Heat obviously couldn't handle well. More fastbreaks, more safe points, that may be they reason the scored over 100 last 2 games. Also it seemed like the Heat lost their spirit when they just couldn't catch up to the 12-point lead from the 2nd half of the last game. Or they're just not the come-back wonders the Mavs are.
Either way, well deserved title. GJ Mavs.

I can't even imagine how large the score differential would've been if Dirk had actually made more than two shots in the first half. Imagine if he had scored 30 points.
