http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/1869415690#14Anyone ever done that kind of stuff spontaneously?
None.
Sure seems like nerdrage in here...
I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.
You could have written something about the topic, too or instead.
Stop trolling, payne!
edit:
answer is: no, at least I normally stop after thinking.
No, I just get on with my life and play something that requires skill, such as melee.
Most UMS maps are a joke, IMO.
Win by luck, lose by skill.

EDIT:
On a more serious note, this is a pretty great example of why people went nuts when you said you were wise, and why people thought you were a spammer on the Custom Maps forum. And now you've created this useless thread and claim that you want to know if we go on random off-topic tangents as well, but really it seems like a front to get us to pay attention to you.

My point here was to try to start maybe some interesting conversation how some weird over-analysis spree like this.
This kind of stuff happens to me very often, but I always keep it in my mind. Maybe it's your situation as well, and if it is, I'd love to hear about your kind of thoughts.
Anyways, sorry for showing interest in psychology/maths/physics/social behaviors in general. >_>
If you are taking this thread as having for sole and unique purpose to get attention to myself well it's your problem.
I really do not see how this kind of thoughts could not generate any kind of discussion...

No, it isn't just my problem or anyone who might agree. The point is that you're linking to a post that is basically spam, and laughing about it as if we'll all have a laugh with you glorifying your post and off-topic rants in general. If the topic was called "Do you over-analyze things?" and then you post about a general experience you had where you over-analyzed a situation and then asked if the rest of us have as well, that would be one thing. "Anyone ever done that kind of stuff spontaneously?
" can mean anything, and when you follow a link to a spam post with that, you could basically be asking if anyone spontaneously writes off-topic rants that have nothing to do with anything.
Considering your post seems to have been deleted, I'd assume the Blizzard mods didn't think it was more than spam either.
Or maybe I'm just over-analyzing this.

Darn, they did delete it. XD
But I believe if you mix title with content, it all makes sense: "Anyone ever done an over-analyzing spree spontaneously?"
None.
A bit more over analysis, if I may. The problem with the topic title is that unlike what DevliN said I see "I want you guys to agree that this post was correct. But just in case it is not I'm putting an emote in there so that if everyone disagrees too much I can write it off as 'lol I know rite?!'" But apparently you only would have cared if certain people disagreed/agreed with you, as you got defensive when the 'wrong' people gave their opinion.
Continuing over-analysis, this post had a total of 9 replies before this, and the posts are counted as such:
payne 3
DevliN 2
Fire_Kame 2
rayNimagi 1
Ahli 1
poison_us 1
You'll notice that the count of member's post can be given by: f(x) = -x+4, where x is the number of members with the same number of posts. Essentially, 3 members with 1 post, 2 with 2, and 1 with 3. Now I'm heading to the Bug thread to report a new error.
Haha, that's actually pretty interesting.
