So what are the doctors planning to do about it? ;o
Well, I can eat and drink and stuff, I'm supposed to have a follow up visit. There was talk of another endoscopy to see if there's anything unusual about my esophagus. Other than that, I have to play by the rules. I broke two that landed me in the situation: Chew your food and don't talk with your mouth full. Assuming that was the cause, I don't really need to do anything besides pay attention to what I'm eating. (This seems pretty likely.)
Allergies can change. Like I'm suddenly allergic to strawberries.
It's true that allergies can change, but I was eating leftover food from the previous day. I also broke the rules like I've mentioned above.
I don't chew macaroni and cheese, or cottage cheese, or applesauce, or yogurt, am I dancing with the devil?
You don't chew macaroni... at all?
None.
Oysters...
How are you feeling now Moose?
None.
I love oysters. They're like the weirdest thing to eat, but they taste sooooooo good when prepared correctly.
Prepared Correctly? As in,
1) Shells opened.
2) Put on a bed of ice.
?
None.
That's disgusting. It's only prepared correctly for me when they stuff it with diced tomatoes and onions (maybe celery) and covered in lemon juice and something to make it spicy. Oh man.
None.
I'd rather eat horse shit.
None.
How are you feeling now Moose?
I'm doing fine, thanks for asking. It hurt to swallow at first, but it got less painful with each day. Now, it's almost as if nothing happened, though I do notice I've become more careful when I'm eating.
Yeah you better be, I'd be blending everything I eat if it was me!
None.
