I made this for Blizzard's contest, which unfortunately turned out to be some sort of joke. Oh well.

Wow, this looks really awesome. I can't wait to try it out! I saw 2 of the winners on SC2Mapster and it's really depressing to see what was chosen over all the cool things that were submitted. If you want to showcase how amazing your map editor is and how versatile the game engine is, then a basic cannon defense should be the last thing you choose as a winner. Man that's frustrating.

The goal is to have the beam pass over all the lighter colored cells in the level using as few reflectors as possible. You can place reflectors on any cell and turn them to any of eight directions.
With the exception of the first few levels you also have the option of moving the beam source. Several special reflectors appear in the advanced levels: a blocker, an arrow, and a teleporter. Special reflectors can't be rotated or removed by the player.
Something you might notice is that levels can be beaten very trivially by just using lots of reflectors. Finding the most efficient solutions is the hard part. When you complete a level with an optimal solution you'll earn a little golden star on the level selection screen. Your best score for each level is stored in a bank.
There are only ten premade levels but you can use the editor to make your own or play randomly generated ones.

He was referring to Blizzard's official BlizzCon map making contest where the 3 winners received $5,000. The three maps that won were nowhere near as good as some of the custom maps out there, including this one. In one of the panels, they said that there were about 500 entries, so it's surprising that one of the winners was a type of cannon defense.

Seriously, the winners of the contests are all jokes.
People can't appreciate old school ORIGINAL remakes.

We can't really know if its real yet... Blizzard never announced it, and all we've heard from the supposed "winners" is "Zomg, I got an e-mail from Blizz!".

Yeah we can, they showed them at BlizzCon. The two that SC2M said won did actually win.
