Ok so I have a new vista OS and I absolutely love it but....
1. Net send disabled??? I think I found a solution but it contradicts with prob #2
2. The security updates. You know, when the whole screen goes a light grey except that one window that has allow or cancel. I press allow and the window goes away but the whole screen stays that light grey color and I can't click anything. The only thing I have found that lets me get out of the grey screen is CTRL+ALT+DEL. But even then it seems to cancel the setting I put when it started. This poses a problem in that I can't install anything new because every time you install anything on vista that box pops up. Any solutions?
3. I'm getting a
TON of "access denied" errors. I
HATE access denied errors. Any suggestions?
4. Whenever I try to do anything with net send, it says messenger service is not started. would you like to start it [Y/N]. I say Y and it says it can't because it's disable or because there are no devices associated with it. I'm pretty <insert swear word here> sure that it isn't disabled so i would say that it doesn't have a device associated with it. There is only one problem with this. I have no <insert other swear word here> idea what that means.

Ok here is what you do first turn off that bullshit it comes with to fix your security probs.I forget the name its like dea or something.
Now for the freezing thats your own fault don't blame vista ok.Its either your ram or you having to many programs on at once.
Now for your forth problem, that dea bullshit will fix that turn it off.All it is is some sort of back up check. Its how to make sure your safe which is funny as hell.Anyways quit blaming vista...
Laser dude can help more then me or someone else with vista.I currently no longer have vista but, will get it again.

I up graded from win98 2 a vista. the vista is actually slower then the 98. it sucks!!!
i feel like smashing it. The problem ithing iz th@ computers cant handle the vista program. so if u buy a vista, well, just don't. if u already have 1, downgrade 2 XP. Oh! and hardly any of the games or utilities such as printers, scaners, etc... will work with it.
p.s: i bought a tower. not the vista disk. this iz funny! check it out:

uhh i have a Printer by HP and its new so it works just fine and to turn off the UAC go to the control pannel and click on Security
None.
vista isnt garbage EVRYBODY THINKS IT SUCKS BECAUSE NOTHING IS COMPATIBLE WITH IT they just cant update anything @nd Notice right away soon in one year anything made after vista will be compatible
None.
Idiots who criticise Vista.
1) Disable UAC
2) Disable automated updates
If your hardware isn't compatible yet, do not upgrade. Everything I own worked out of the box with Vista, no drivers required. Stop shifting the blame off your stupidity.

Ok the security alert prob fixed itself, but I still need a good net send tutorial. I've googled it but I still can't find one that actually makes sense.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVbf9tOGwnoVista requires 400mb of ram to work properly. Wtf did you upgrade from a 98 for?
Garenteed you only have 128 ~ 256 ram (Hopefully DDR)
