I'm also gonna have trouble with client-side right now, since my home computer is being a bitch. Can't startup in normal or any Safe Mode. I can only get on the 'net from college, so I basically can't work on SEN at all.

It goes into a boot loop and can't load anything past "Mup.sys" (presumably due to a problem with the registry, my hardware, NTOSKRNL.EXE or HAL.DLL). There are literally over 9000 possible causes (since NO ONE at M$ has bothered to document what happens during system startup after NTLDR.EXE finishes running) so it may be a while before I can fix it. I'll have to get a bootable flash drive (with Linux) from a friend and then basically skullfuck half of the registry, among other things, in the hopes of fixing this bullshit.

Slave drive, back up/recover data, format, reinstall OS? But judging from your comments, your PC is fairly old. Maybe ask Ex to help with a new build?

If you could get a home PC running, it would be great if you could use some of that time to help SEN. Not too much each day, but 10/15 minutes a day adds up, especially if they are minor fixes.

I have a family computer that, as of before I just got on today, only boots up about 30% of the time. I changed some graphics settings via the BIOS (shitty Intel drivers...) so that may've fixed it. I'll try to set up the programs I need on it when I get the chance.

As for slaving the drive, I lack the requisite cables and such, and I have determined that it is a hardware problem anyway. My PC can't output anything to the screen anymore -- not even during the BIOS, and I've confirmed that the monitor and cables are in good condition.

If the family computer starts booting up more successfully, then I may be able to contribute some more time.
