Wait, do you already have a harddrive to put into the external enclosure?

I am confused, do you want me to suggest you a hard drive + external enclosure combo or just a retail external hard drive?

i already have a hard drive its a wd caviar se 7200 rpm 160gb hd
i need to know if its better use that hard drive with external enclosure or buy a new external hard drive (cost wise)

Oh, in that case, just buy an external enclosure if you are fine with the HDD being 160gb.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817145127 would be a good choice, IMO =)
