Today's generation has come out with the wii, xbox 360, ps3, ipod touch, nintendo DS, and multiple games for said systems, but NO ONE can forget the classics, what started it all. The old school games Tetris, Asteroids, pac-man, and thousands of others. Not much people give it much thought, but if it weren't for asteroids, we probably wouldn't have any of the other shooter games we have now.

I have attempted to fix your introductory paragraph. There are still many errors and you are short on specific points of argument. Ultimately, you are lacking of a well-defined thesis. I recommend reflecting on what you want the reader to know because your thesis in its present state is very ambiguous. You should do some more brainstorming on what you really want to say.

I stress that the weakest factor in your paragraph is the lack of a specific topic. Without it, you will be incapable of providing sufficient arguments to the reader.

Additionally, to generalize the population by saying that the majority of people do not think back to "classic" video games is an example of a common mistake in writing, especially when there is no proof or evidence to support such a generalization. Such generalizations are only claims without proof to support it.

I do agree that the younger generation doesn't appreciate the classics as they should but there's nothing in your paragraph that would stimulate a response from me. Except maybe that when I was a kid my dad made a funny photo of me playing a pac-man clone.

Pac-Man is fun.

Why should people appreciate an outdated and less interesting game? I definitely don't appreciate Pacman or Asteroids. If they didn't exist, some other game would've.

My favourite classics are World of WarCraft, Gears of War 2, StarCraft, Final Fantasy 7, Chess, Spin the Bottle, and Diablo 5.

The only classics I appreciate are the original NES Mario and Zelda games ;o. Pac-man is awesome, too.

Chess, there are alot of people who do, and alot of people who don't appreciate Chess. Personally I think chess is really fun, no one ever likes to verse me at it though. I guess I always beat them, or they just hate the game... or they hate the game because I beat thm, or the other way around... anyways, Chess and Checkers are awesome.

Any old school Super Mario game im a fan of. A personal favorite is Pong. >;p

New generation is spoiled with graphics and 3D and crap.

Pong, that's another great classic, it made a gateway to a whole new generation of games... like that one where you break the block by bouncing a ball off a platform, sorry forgot the name.

no no wait what was that game where you were this motorcross dirt bike thing for the snes? Super motocross? Or maybe it was excitebike or something like that. IT came with that cartridge that had four games in it. :3
