How is it not important to know the materials it isn't made out of? Even if all the answers were "no," knowing it doesn't contain any wood/metal/etc is still helpful in deducing the item regardless of what it is. Same for whether it's normally found indoors or not. You may not think it's helpful because you already know what the object is, but finding out what it isn't helps anyone else deduce it.

Not answering people's questions is extremely unappealing, if you didn't notice the sharp drop in activity in this thread after Devil attempted to be "answerer". If answering a few additional questions is really such a chore, it would be better to just give everyone 20 questions per 'thing' (have them number each question they ask), so if they do ask what you perceive to be a "dumb question cuz its dumb," they'll be "wasting" one of their questions rather than being skipped over. At least they'll still get an answer.

Idk, this system seems a lot more complicated than it does simple. Poison obviously wants to know wtf it is or isn't made out of, it's a lot more simple to quote his questions and just say "no" than it is to make him quote himself in subsequent posts to try to get answers to what are perfectly legitimate questions.

Stop trying to make everything about you and your problems with me. The drop in activity has nothing to do with me being the answerer. In fact, this thread was at its most active when I was the answerer, but again that has nothing to do with me. It's just a coincidence that everyone was active at the time. You'd be a fool to think that this topic would get a post every single minute from half a dozen different people every single day. Activity naturally goes up and down.

Also, the answerer has the right to answer questions at his discretion. Tux is completely on the right track with his new rules. Stop whining just because I ignored your bad questions. I did you a favor because I knew that answering your question wouldn't help at all, and it would only confuse you and the others more.

And maybe Tux has been ignoring all the materials questions, because what he's thinking of isn't even tangible. How about we ask that first.

Is it tangible?

2 people in the shoutbox said they weren't going to participate as much due to your behavior, not including myself.

The point is, poison has asked the material questions twice now. If it isn't tangible, then just say 'no'. Two word response. Not that hard.

Who? The only person I see whining about 20 questions is Aristocrat who never played to begin with.

No, the point is that if the object is not tangible, then asking a question about what material it's made out of is irrelevant.

If Tux doesn't want to answer certain questions, he's well within his right to and he probably has a good reason too. You're the only one complaining about it.

Stop arguing about the rules. If you don't like it, don't play.

Even in this format, my new rules are still a lot more forgiving than 20 questions normally is, you know.

But hey. If you can win this round, feel free to switch back to the previous rules.
