Hello

How can this be "worst ripoff" when it's exactly like NudeRaider's desert strike except for no cooldown time when building gas?
That's ridiculous, lathanide.

I guess the same way in which you rated Desert Strike Night Fixed as "worst rip off", despite the fact that I've spent over 200 hours on it, fixed many serious bugs and implemented dozens of new features and completely overhauled the balance.

None.

Hello

I hate the set up of DS Night, why? Because it's totally not like Desert Strike was supposed to be. Therefore, you cannot say that this is a ripoff of DesertStrike, if anything it's a "ripoff of DS Night" which would rather be pointless.

Will you create "Night Fixed" on SC2? Will you use SC2 features like "redefined detailed descriptions of the buildings"?

Mr.Pete-Tong

wow found this old thread about DS ;) did jungle strike ever become played by players on sc2? seems Direct strike and desert strike azure is the two DS maps beeing played on sc2?

Quote from Devourer
can players hit up other players bases as players can in nudes original DS.. i believe after been working on balancing DS for more than 12 yaers on and off now that its really hard to balance the gameplay goin from spawning micro amount into spawning macro amounts of units, both in consideration of map limits and lag and other bugs and balance.

Today i see jungle strike beeing hosted on korean servers for sc1.. i find jungle strike for sc1 ( tho theres many jungle strike version only tryid a few of them) abit weird tho mostly cause im fan of default units stats.. like others said it feels best when it reflects the normal sc game instead of beeing alien stats on units.

200 hours is not much used.. I mean i prolly used at least more than 50 (10000 hours) times as much on my ds version which someone would still call an edit or a rip off.

If devourer rated you map low its prolly not a matter of what good you did maybe devourer just liked nudes ds version. Anyway Lanthanide youre fixed version contains many bugs and is surely not perfect balanced even the fact that you changed unit stats. I dont think you overhauled balance, i agree that you made few nice features which some of them not balanced or used for that matter. If you fixed some bugs you still left alot of bugs. I know the fact that youre ds version have been very popular but its sad that you left it having still so many faults.

Bit late on the draw here, but I don't believe this claim buddy. 10,000 hours would be 416.667 24-hour days, 625 16-hour days or 1,250 8-hour days, so like 3.5 years of working 8 hours a day, every single day on the map. Not buying it :P

Dungeon-Master shouted: Ultraviolet Yeah I've been a user since 2008 and lurker starting in 05. Been on and off and never really meddled with the others but without SEN I still wouldn't know extended editors exist.
I was stalking your profile a bit and stumbling on some buried treasure  Fun little snapshot of our younger selves. There's a lot of good stuff in there: desperate long distance romances, broships, trolling, even a kind older woman helping to ease one's sorrows. I'm not making fun of you btw, we were all young and foolish. My history is just as embarrassing if not more so :P
