Vespene was going to be saved for like game usage, like old school zerg pets and armies. I dunno if I'm still going to do those, and if not, what use would gas serve.

ALSO: Take note, I have yet to factor in the economy I want SEN to have, I don't want thousands of minerals floating around and inflation occuring and etc. As such, I may go back and edit mineral gains and/or contest prizes up until I have something solid.

Gas should serve as "Reputation" points.

"oh hey you just helped me with the problem i just had! +rep for you!" And you could only give rep once a day.

But we have reputation already ;o
It was just never implemented.

So then just throw out the other things you had going on call "vespene" the reputation counter so you can say you have a reputation system and you used gas for something. It feels empty using minerals but no gas...

Finally... I've been wandering the wastes in search of minerals for years.

Wasn't here long enough to know about these so called minerals, but wow, I can already see the impact of these being incentives for contributing. Already, It's making me want to get some serious stuff done around here!

The store died before I could spend my 3000 minerals before. Hopefully it doesn't die again.

Side note: It's pretty hard to keep track of people's contribution O.o.. and people'll sooner or later feel that it's unfair or biased, tho you'e really just doing what you think is right...
