Does anyone know how to limit the amount of save's you can use. I know this was done before, I'm quite sure when the user saved the game and loaded it up something was modified in the game and removed that. Every time the game was loaded up it would deduct something. I'm sure of this. And once that thing that was deducted was no more, it would end in defeat. And therefore making it impossible to load.

I'm sure of this feature, It was in someones RPG map. Could someone please explain to me the concept on how this works? Thanks.

There is no way to detect when someone saves without EUD conditions, so basically there is no way to do it. If you still think there is, find the map that shows it and I'll tell you how to do it.

Well unless they have their own save system, where if you die you go back to that point?

i remember someone saying triggers worked quirky after loading a saved game

i never tested this out myself, but this is basically what that guy said:
-civilization map has a bug the constantly centers your map
-saved the game
-loaded the game
-saved the game
*rinsed and repeated a bunch of times
-error is gone, map works perfectly

i think his theory was that triggers that already ran/running at the time of the save became 'used-up' when you loaded it back up again. basically, in the loaded-up game, its like the triggers never existed.

once again, this is from bad memory and heresay...so don't quote me on it

maybe someone test this out?

No, SC saves all variables and any other things, the only part that might change is that the trigger cycle will restart for a second, but I don't see how that can be detected or used for anything..

The triggers used are loaded from the base map regardles of the age of the map or even if a trigger is running... If the map is moved or changed between when it was saved as a saved file in the folder or when it was loaded, SC may encounter several errors and may even corrupt your map and even StarCraft resulting in re-installation. If the map is saved while a trigger is going, SC may save weirdly and cause trigger bugs. No idea why though: Blizzrd did something weird...
