Similar to the File Request Thread, this is a thread for everyone to post basic requests about terraining. Whether the request is an entire map(s), or just small sections of custom terrain, you can request it here rather than posting an entire thread for less than one map. Please include detailed descriptions of what you're looking for, or I will ask you to add more information. The object of this thread is to help find or create terrain to suit a purpose, not see what someone can do for you. Of course, with the larger the map is, generally the less specific you need be. However, if you're looking for a water to high dirt to water blend with a temple doodad blending to an underwater temple, it's best if you say so the first time. One more thing: please include the size and tileset of the piece you're looking for.

Yep, I stole those links from Merrell's File Request Thread. This post will be kept up to date as the thread progresses. Finally, please include credit for whomever created your terrain piece.

I want sort of a left vs right set up to it, with a flag area in the center of the left and right sides. I also would like it for there to be symmetry along some line.

Might I suggest you move your terrain request to a different post to maintain the professionality and cleanliness of the first post?

My request:

I need a 60x36 piece of installation terrain, mainly substructure, with areas of floor that are reachable (via stairs or whatever), but no roofing. I'd like it to be fairly decorated and have a lot of objects/terrain walls to hide behind. Imagine you're designing a snipers battlefield. Tactical places to hold down and whatever would be cool too. Add doodads, sprites, whatever.

I'd like a badlands area, about 20 wide and 15 high, in rectangular terrain(but still blended). It should look like a prison, with 3 cells.

Um, well, not saying you HAVE to use this, because I only worked on it for 20 minutes... and I'm not much of a sprite person. And there's almost no doodads for installation, BUT, it seems pretty good, and yes, a paint example would be very nice.

I liked aspects of it, but I forgot to mention, I want sort of a left vs right set up to it, with a flag area in the center of the left and right sides. I also would like it for there to be symmetry along some line. Thanks though, I like what you made as a first draft kind of feel, if you're willing to work on it more that would be awesome.

I'm going to have to ask you to elaborate. Should this be like the interior of a building, an "island prison" (actually started making that one, then scrapped it), or just some jail-like doodads that you can't escape from? How big should the cells be, or does it not matter?

Maybe this is too big of a request - but I need an AoS map done. The theme is Underwater, and it doesn't have to be symmetrical. The terrain needs to be twilight tileset. PM me for more info.

Hello there,
i'm new to this project but 've already found it very useful and totaly great, u guys are doing a great job here.
neither google nor SEN Database helped me,
so here's my request:
i need a ramp to the desert sunken ground vice versa the one on the picrelated.

REQUEST:
-Hexagonal arenas for this map. Six players must be able to spawn units in at least a 9x9 location. Must be symmetrical in terms of gameplay (terrain can differ but low/high ground and unwalkable tiles should be as balanced as possible.)

Any tileset is good, but all arenas you submit should be on the same tileset since they're in the same map. Winners get a e-cookie :P.

I'm needing a Mountain area on Ice world. The whole map so far is grass. So its the default grass with bits and pieces of snow. If at all possible could the mountain have four levels? I counted out the grid size on the map I would like and it came out to about 83x97. Narrow cliffs and small ramps here and there would be awesome. Thanks in advance, sorry if my description does not suffice. Please ask if you're looking for a specific part of what I'd like.

The hoss i don't know if you know this or not but if you want a nice looking mountain jungle or badlands is best but who knows people can surprise you... I'll try to make atleast a theory map to see if i can make something that will look like mountains in ice

Its very hard TheHoss I can say that I can't make it without making it blocky... or have much depth

Depth is the important aspect that makes it look like a mountain and this for me cannot be accomplished in ice sorry... maybe someone else can help you

Hello Terrainers,

My friend and I are in desperate need for someone who is willing to partake on a project with us. We are creating a "Temple Siege"-like map mixed in with the essence of Mechs. Henceforth, we are in dire need of a polished terrainer who can form a good map for us.

[SPECS]
256x256
Bandlands (must be city-like)
Appearance should be very destructive, with hints of nature in it.

[[I've attached a blueprint of the map.]]

Important Note: The battlefield should not be a square.

IMPORTANT: The spawns from both "Bases" should be able to meet at the three "yellow starred" area at the same time!!!

And I know this is a lot of work, but if you are interested, it would help us a dozen. My friend and I are very devoted to this project, so your work will not be wasted!

In my new map, the arena covers a distance from ( 63, 88 ) [ Top left ] To ( 148, 141 ) [ Bottom Right ] It's set in twilight. At the top of the map is a unit selection area that runs from ( 64, 4 ) [ Top left ] To ( 102, 22 ) [ Bottom Right ] It has a space of 4 tiles from the top of the map...On the outside of the arena are the spell zones. From the spell zones to the arena is a gap of 13 tile spaces. Here is a mini map preview of what that looks like so far.



The top left of the map has upgrade buildings an such. They are over water though, so no need to worry about that.
Going back to the spell zones, The top left and top Right spell zones line up with the top of the arena, while the bottom left and bottom right spell zones are 1 up from the bottom of the arena... The spell zones are 15 x 14 tiles. Hope I gave enough of a description.

Now for the actual design of it, I really don't care...The arena map has no actual theme to it. I would like a sort of spiral effect of white / any other color of choosing, because that sounds cool to me. ;D If you don't wanna make that, that's fine, just do what you want. :)

P.S : Don't worry about the bottom right, or anywhere you see purple, I can easily move those, so don't take those into account. :)
