I define it as a relationship which is serious.
Why can't we just have some more specific, well-defined terms that don't make it impossible to know what, exactly, someone means, without asking, when they mention or ask about relationships? And such that certain things can't be said without having to have it clarified that words are being used literally, in an awkward manner, in order to avoid confusion?

Also, that MSN fragment begs a story. Angsty SEN teenagers complaining about their lack of a sex life amuses me.
