StarCraft
From Staredit Network
StarCraft is a military science fiction real-time strategy video game created and developed by Blizzard. The game (the first in its series) was released on March 31, 1998. A year later on November 30, the Starcraft: Brood War expansion pack was released, and it has become wildly popular in South Korea (to the point where StarCraft tournaments in that country are sponsored and televised).
The game is highly notable for being one of the first to include three wholly-distinct yet balanced playable races (the Terran, Protoss, and Zerg). The story and voice acting in its single-player campaigns has been widely praised; GameSpot has included StarCraft in a list of the ten best-acted games in the industry.[1]
Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty was released to the public on July 27, 2010. The sequel was long awaited and well received by fans.

Graphics
- This section is a stub. You can help out by adding more information.
StarCraft's graphics are entirely composed of two-dimensional raster images. Though some sprites have alpha transparency, most use single-color transparency.
