[2019-7-12. : 9:06 am]
Suicidal Insanity -- I think you can start the editor and then start starcraft
[2019-7-12. : 8:18 am]
Wormer -- is this the inherent CASC problem? makes mapping experience very unpleasant :(
[2019-7-12. : 8:12 am]
Suicidal Insanity -- Have a bunch of test profiles and versions
[2019-7-12. : 8:12 am]
Suicidal Insanity -- I may have had 1.23 prerelease open and scmdraft pointed to release or vice versa
[2019-7-12. : 7:57 am]
Wormer -- Suicidal Insanity
Suicidal Insanity shouted: Suicidal Insanity Or maybe I was lucky, just tried again didn't work
Okay, I am running on non-administrator account, if that can be the cause
[2019-7-12. : 7:56 am]
Wormer -- Suicidal Insanity
Suicidal Insanity shouted: Wormer: That isn't an error code. That is the current time
Where is that awesome cartooned zergling smile? :-)
[2019-7-12. : 7:52 am]
Suicidal Insanity -- FaRTy1billion
FaRTy1billion shouted: Suicidal Insanity I have 1.00 to 1.16.1 SC and 1.04 to 1.16.1 BW and all of the patch EXEs
I had all of those as full installations, not just the patches
[2019-7-12. : 6:53 am]
Pr0nogo -- preferably somewhere I can download them and reupload them for even saferkeeping
[2019-7-12. : 6:53 am]
Pr0nogo -- you should upload those somewhere for safekeeping
[2019-7-12. : 3:45 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- and, probably as a result, it was the hardest to find
[2019-7-12. : 3:45 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- 1.01 patcher is annoying because it deletes itself after patching
[2019-7-12. : 3:45 am]

[2019-7-12. : 3:43 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Suicidal Insanity
Suicidal Insanity shouted: I used to have 1.00 - 1.16 back before SC:R was announced, but at some point I wiped most of em
I have 1.00 to 1.16.1 SC and 1.04 to 1.16.1 BW and all of the patch EXEs
[2019-7-12. : 12:00 am]
Suicidal Insanity -- I used to have 1.00 - 1.16 back before SC:R was announced, but at some point I wiped most of em
[2019-7-12. : 12:00 am]
Suicidal Insanity -- I have so many versions lying around...
[2019-7-11. : 11:54 pm]
Ultraviolet -- MTiger, I had the same idea. I downloaded version 1.16.1 SC and used those MPQs :P
[2019-7-11. : 11:54 pm]
Ultraviolet -- We also need the MPQs for using EUD Editor 2
[2019-7-11. : 11:52 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- Yes but why not just use the new build?
[2019-7-11. : 11:50 pm]
MTiger156 -- Oh snap, I could share my 1.16.1 MPQ's with you all on MediaFire. I'm a genius :DDD
[2019-7-11. : 11:49 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- Anything under 1.22 -> 3 MPQs, 1.22 -> 4 MPQs, 1.23 or higher -> CASC
[2019-7-11. : 11:48 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- The new version should even auto detect the MPQ settings if you just point it to a starcraft.exe
[2019-7-11. : 11:45 pm]
MTiger156 -- Ohhh, i just needed to remove that weird one I mentioned.
[2019-7-11. : 11:44 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- I basically randomly choose between CASC, 1.16, 1.17, 1.18, 1.22, etc to test
[2019-7-11. : 11:43 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- You get that error if it cannot load the graphics, unit settings, etc fully
[2019-7-11. : 11:43 pm]
MTiger156 -- Maybe they were messed with. One of them is named "SEXP_IX86_1.18.0.1345.mpq"
[2019-7-11. : 11:42 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- They shouldn't, unless you have em in the wrong order
[2019-7-11. : 11:41 pm]
MTiger156 -- I got a backup of 1.16.1, but those MPQ files throw error "unable to initial scmdraft's game engine (hr = 0x80004005)"
[2019-7-11. : 11:32 pm]
NudeRaider -- lesson* jeez - i really should go to bed, like the rest of you
[2019-7-11. : 11:32 pm]
NudeRaider -- Pr0*
[2019-7-11. : 11:32 pm]
NudeRaider -- I'm still waiting for my history lessen, btw. SI and Prß
[2019-7-11. : 11:04 pm]
Ultraviolet -- Zoko-TkZ
Zoko-TkZ shouted: oh so I did get eud editor running btw all you have to do is for the broodwar.mpq path in whatever version of starcraft.exe youre using (x86 or x86_64)
Can you explain this more thoroughly? I would like to get EUD Editor 2 working again, but don't have access to the old MPQs now.
[2019-7-11. : 10:52 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- Suicidal Insanity
Suicidal Insanity shouted: Tested that yesterday, had game open and then launched the editor
Or maybe I was lucky, just tried again didn't work
[2019-7-11. : 10:46 pm]
Ultraviolet -- What?
[2019-7-11. : 10:41 pm]
Zoko-TkZ -- oh so I did get eud editor running btw all you have to do is for the broodwar.mpq path in whatever version of starcraft.exe youre using (x86 or x86_64)
[2019-7-11. : 10:39 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- Tested that yesterday, had game open and then launched the editor
[2019-7-11. : 10:35 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- And it should work with the game running, unless bnet is currently patching
[2019-7-11. : 10:35 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- Wormer: That isn't an error code. That is the current time
[2019-7-11. : 10:34 pm]
Wormer -- The previous error code is for x64 version of StarCraft, and for x32 it gives the same error with code 22:33:25.0103
[2019-7-11. : 10:32 pm]
Wormer -- 22:31:39.0447 Error::Unable to access the CASC data!
[2019-7-11. : 10:31 pm]
Wormer -- The problem with SCMD now is it doesn't allow to open the editor while the game is running
[2019-7-11. : 9:55 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- And which scmdraft version do you have
[2019-7-11. : 9:54 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- Are you trying to explictly use the old data and not the SC 1.23 data?
[2019-7-11. : 9:38 pm]
cwinowich -- hi I am having the same problem, I can not open starcraftmap draft2 at all it says I am unable to find game data, please edit selected profile ect. i have stardat broodat patch_rt and broodwar all in data mpq's . What am I missing? What can I do? Please help! Thanks
[2019-7-11. : 8:55 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- I don't know how to make the explanation clearer :(
[2019-7-11. : 4:52 pm]
Ultraviolet -- Yeah, I had that same exact issue before I updated
[2019-7-11. : 8:52 am]
Suicidal Insanity -- Magix
Magix shouted: does anyone have an issue where scmdraft2 won't load the Starcraft directory after the latest update?
That sounds like you do not have the lastest scmdraft update
[2019-7-11. : 5:39 am]
jjf28 -- stardat, broodat, patch_rt
[2019-7-11. : 2:41 am]
Zoko-TkZ -- although my scmdraft is loading fine
[2019-7-11. : 1:51 am]
Zoko-TkZ -- this might be the same issue as mine lol
[2019-7-11. : 1:41 am]
Magix -- does anyone have an issue where scmdraft2 won't load the Starcraft directory after the latest update?
[2019-7-11. : 12:12 am]
Zoko-TkZ -- https://ibb.co/SvCvYSj
[2019-7-10. : 11:50 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- broodat is game data
[2019-7-10. : 11:50 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- Broodwar.mpq is the file from the CD with campaign data
[2019-7-10. : 11:50 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- Isn't it BrooDat.mpq that it uses?
[2019-7-10. : 10:29 pm]
Zoko-TkZ -- I don't have broodwar.mpq in it
[2019-7-10. : 10:27 pm]
Zoko-TkZ -- ah yeah I do but, what should I do with it?
[2019-7-10. : 10:21 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- They removed it from the install - do you still have 1.16.1 or similar anywhere?
[2019-7-10. : 9:33 pm]
Zoko-TkZ -- I remember it had something to do with the starcraft.exe, but looks like they replaced that with 32 and 64 bit versions??
[2019-7-10. : 9:31 pm]
Zoko-TkZ -- its asking for broodwar.mpq and I have no idea where to get that
[2019-7-10. : 9:30 pm]
Zoko-TkZ -- hey anyone has eudeditor 2 running after the latest update?
[2019-7-10. : 5:59 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- Meh, I can't force autoupdate cause autoupdate isn't run until after scmdraft is fully open, its not done by the splashscreen. I think I'm gonna add 'check for updates' to the splash screen to prevent that in the future :(
[2019-7-10. : 5:41 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- Works =)
[2019-7-10. : 5:41 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- So I skip leading whitespace, search for seperator token, and remove trailing whitespace tokens
[2019-7-10. : 5:41 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- Ya - but I just have whitespace, text, quoted text, comma, paranthesis, etc tokens
[2019-7-10. : 4:16 pm]
jjf28 -- jjf28
jjf28 shouted: downside being you can't tell them the column of the error
actually given the line and the original input, I can convert the cleaned column back to the spaced column, just have to catch, add the extra info, and rethrow
[2019-7-10. : 1:05 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- COrbo stole my prize ;( ;( ;(
[2019-7-10. : 5:46 am]
NudeRaider -- "go all the way" button #
[2019-7-10. : 5:42 am]
NudeRaider -- Suicidal Insanity
Suicidal Insanity shouted: Pr0nogo No, that would break all the trigger generators. And I think some of the action / condition types also have spaces. Will just need to deal with it
if there's more exceptions it will get tedious, of course.
[2019-7-10. : 5:42 am]
NudeRaider -- could also add a button to add the space back for cases where people need to copy the text trigger to somewhere else
[2019-7-10. : 5:40 am]
NudeRaider -- couldn't you simply replace "not set" with "notset" before compiling?
