MineSweeper(Beta 9.1.11) by SonnieInn @ useast A First Experiment Experimental Mine Sweeper map inspired by the classic Mine Sweeper for Windows. 64x64 Space Platform
The goal of the game is to successfully flag all Mines within the map. Single Player, with 2 additional slots for "observer" players only under a separate force with shared vision enabled with the computer player (Spider Mines). Terrain construction is a 8x8 block (64 square) grid containing randomly placed Spider Mines. All Spider Mines are randomly placed each time the map is reloaded, each time the player chooses to reset the mines, each time the player chooses a difficulty level, and each time the player dies (hits a mine). There are 3 different difficulty levels (Easy -appx 10% mines, Hard -appx 25% mines, and Insane -appx 60% mines) which can be set at any time by simply bringing the "mine sweeper" (Zerg Defiler) over to the spider mine sprites. The mines can be reset (and re-randomized) by either choosing a difficulty level, by dying, or simply turning the "reset button" (Siege Tank) into tank mode. Place a Zerg Defiler on any block in order to "open" it up; if it's safe, then a Khalis Crystal will form there to mark it as safe; if it's not safe, then a Spider Mine kills you. Upon standing in a safe block, a scoreboard to the top left corner will show you how many mines are nearby or adjacent. Use Dark Swarm to place a Flag over any block which you believe may contain a Spider Mine. Use Dark Swarm to Remove a Flag over any block which you believe does not contain a Mine. Once all Spider Mines have been properly flagged, and once all Safe blocks have been marked as Safe or "Clear", then Victory is Achieved.
Keep an Eye Open for future Non-gridded Mine Sweeper maps...
