He's trying to back up his clan and "Restore" its status.

It's not a personal grudge, I have nothing against you, except for the fact that you decided on remaking (U) for yourself. Kenoli, Legacy, and Shmidley do not like that you are doing this.

I think that's probably the grudge. I dunno if he ever tried to get into (U), but based on the way this has been going, I'd guess he tried and failed ;o


Kenoli and Legacy managed to destroy a clan that had existed for years. My opinion is that they hurt the clan and should have no say in the matters. But neither you, nor I, should be getting involved in the internal conflicts of a clan that is not our own.

I can understand that some people could be upset that a former member revived the clan but look at it like from my perspective:
(U) has always been one of the top map making clans in my opinion. I found that former members like myself were still proud to wear the tag. So i thought to my self why the hell wouldn't i want to bring back the good old days. Maybe i didn't get permission from a former leader, but where the hell are they anyway? I don't consider myself "leading" Clan (U), i'm not power hungry. What i've done is i've taken the name of a clan that is no longer in existent and tried my best replicate it. I follow the same guidelines as the original (U) to the best of my ability, ofcourse it can't be exactly the same.

And if you go to the channel Clan uUu you will see in both T-Virus@Azeroth and OpS(U)'s profiles the following:
IF i need to write it more clearly i will, i assumed the majority of the people who read it are educated enough to know in lameness terms it means: THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL (U).

LITTLE DETAILS OF MY CREATION OF CLAN UNKNOWN:
- if you are trying out for (U) you must meet the same standards that were always expected from Clan (U), to possess map making skills above the average mapper.
- members of the clan arn't ranked. To be a member (U) is to be apart of a team, a community of above the average mapmakers who proudly wear the tag.

Guys please don't look at me as if i'm the "villain" for wanting to bring back such a great clan. I guess i brought part of it upon myself telling ETEFT it's cool if he wanted to announce it on SEN. But one thing i've noticed is the negative feedback comes from people that were never affiliated an any way with (U). The fact is i think a lot of this has to do with my past or their past with the clan. As for people like silentecho i have an old quote to tell you:
Someone mentioned on the previous page that silentecho probably has his own personal grudge against you, i believe so. Maybe he just doesn't like competition... I also think it's real interesting that silentecho has talked to three former leaders of (U) and none of them have even tried to contact me. Apparently all the former (U) leaders are mad that i would want to bring back one of the best clans of all time?

I will always respect the former leaders, but what they threw away i will guide back to life.

So i made a new clan with the same name following similar guidelines to the original. If you think thats the first time someone has remade a clan your greatly mistaken.

Just for the record: i joined before both kenoli and legacy, thnx. I was recruited by SiLeNT(U) in 2003. Ask Mp(U) he'll agree. After all he helped me get in! =)

I would bring back Mp, but there's no point. The same thing would happen as is happening with (U). I'd just get "Hate Mail." I even know that ppl thought low of me just because I kept the clan alive(eh..) I've been in the new (U)'s channel and they are more active then some other map making clan out there (Not going to mention) and Virus is willing to help even the ppl sought as annoying by others. That is a map making clan that deserves to stay... or maybe Virus is just a nice guy, idk. GL Virus. Much Love

Well, personally, I think that if you are going to remake the clan but not be affiliated with the old clan then what sense is there to using the old name? It's good to see a few people starting to become more active, but not having the entire old clan just makes it not feel right to be brought back. Anyways, I'll stop by whenever I'm on Battle.net. I haven't been on for a while and don't map make too much anymore. We should have finished that zombie map.

Well i was told by multiple people on SEN i don't have the right to remake the clan so now its a "mirror" clan of the original that follows the same guidelines.

Echo, as a leader of Clan CheF, even if this was true, you have no room to talk, after the massive movement where anyone who knew how to open up an editor could get into CheF.

On that note i was told that members have gotten in with maps they made in less then twenty minutes including a one level bound. But it's not my place to judge, i have never been in chef nor will i but into other clan's business.

This (U) is not the old (U). That has been said. So don't treat it like (U) revived. It shouldn't even be called (U) revived. This is a totally new clan made by some old (U) Members. So treat it like a new clan, don't judge it until it puts out a few things. In T-Virus's defense: Give it a chance, if it lives up to (U)'s old standards then great. We have a new top notch clan.
But I would like to remind this new (U) that there is already a "memorial" (U) Clan on SEN. So, I personally believe it was intended to stay dead.

Though I admit to being a member of Chef, and proudly wear the tag on these forums, this has in no way influenced my opinion of this new (U).

Oh, and I just noticed this is now a "mirror" clan to (U). Please explain what in the hell that is suppose to mean.

When i say "mirror clan" i basically mean that it resembles the old (U). Though it is a new clan, it follows the same guidelines as the original and has not lowered the standards for recruitment. Even today there was a big confusion between a few people in the channel who thought i had lowered the standards and i had to explain that i have tones of friends who I'd love to see in the clan, but since our goal is to bring back the glorious (U) days i won't make any exceptions to the rules. I don't try to brag when i say (U) has had several tryouts in the past few days, i just mean that a lot of people assume since I'm sort of managing things at this time that T-Virus(U) will throw em' a bone.

I really didn't think so many people who aren't affiliated with (U) would want to be so involved with who does what, if it's that big of a conflict and the former leaders really dislike what i'm doing i would ask one thing, give me the opportunity to prove that the clan is not going to get thrown out the window like it has in the past. There is only so much i can do at this time to impress everyone. At this time there is only 3 of us in the clan, so please take that into consideration.

On a random note i feel its rather ironic that all three of us in the clan make mostly horror maps ^_^) So if all you see is horror maps for awhile, sorry. =P

That is correct Kenoli plays on same realm as me and so does Shmidley, I think even Mindarchon does too. I'll tell kenoli when I see him and see what he says.
