Hai!

So there's this game called WAF (We Are Friend) and the interceptor is locked onto units without having a carrier on them. The Carrier-based system is easy, even I can do that, but I just DON'T UNDERSTAND how the Interceptor flies onto the unit as its target without anything that would make it go there. Any ideas?

Also, on some korean maps there's a middle location (like 000 on WAF after unprotection) and they give certain units to the computer player and attack to 000 and they all fly outside in a perfect circle. What's this 000? Is it just a location in the middle? Then why do they fly outside like that, if a computer player gets the order to attack there? I'm not sure, and I never really understood, and it would be cool if I did.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

You can move interceptors using "set generic target" AI, or something like that. The way to make units fly out in a "perfect circle" is detailed in some previous posts, search for it, check the wiki, etc. I think it has something to do with junkyard dog.

Set Generic Command Target on where you want it to move, and then use the Make These Units Patrol AI on the interceptor to make it go there, you can also constantly move the interceptor if you are fine with the skippy look.

Of course, you need to have the Carrier be alive, or the interceptor will die, it just doesn't have to be near the interceptor.

On the flying to outside... I truly am not sure, I've seen the effect (Dark Templar's ultimate move) and I always assumed they just used a mobile grid, are you sure the location is directly in the center? Try searching the text triggers for any references to that location.

When you say fly out in a perfect circle, do you mean spiral out of the center, or fly in a perfect circle around the center?

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

They spread out from the center (O) in all directions. Kinda like this:

\ | /
--O--
/ | \

And as there are so many, they form a circle that is rapidly becoming larger.

Welcome, weird guy from BWHacks. :bleh:

Set Generic Target.

They fly out in circles, but it looks like they're spiraling since they spawn their own "orbits"

They don't spawn anything. They just get an attack order... I'm talking about Nanoha's Starlight Breaker or R23P Diabolic Emission.

Btw, thanks Falkoner! :) You're a god :O
