Personally, I hate ALL the hack'n'slash RPGs, but I love the other one. The complex one
I'd just like to ask for everybody to try to find the most RPGs as possible that fits in these conditions:
- Spells
- Innovative systems
- Storyline
- Aesthetic

Most of the 1 player RPGs are good, and here is a list of the RPGs I know so far, that are good:
- Spellsword RPG
- Deep Blue RPG (Yes... Incomplete... but still AWESOME)
- Sorcery 2 RPG
- Rush I
- Fifth Station
- Legacy of Haean (Kinda repetitive, but still, the concept were good) **ONLY PLAYABLE AS PLAYER 2!!
- Labyrinthos RPG (Not that good too, but very well done)
- Dungeon Escape (Not really a RPG, but still... since I like The Puzzling, I obviously like this)
- RE: One
- Twilight Legacy RPG
- Deep Six (Untitled RPG...)
- So It Begins
- Death Knights 3
- Honourless
- The True Patriot
- Shroud of Darkness
- Legend of Mana

So? Anyone got other RPGs I could have fun with? Suggest anything as long as it's not hack'n'slash and that it is kinda the same thing as the one I named.

EDIT: I started a little bit today, i was thinking that HP could rely on Death counts n stuff like that, n u make a zealot to attack, n wait a lil to attack etc. im tryin to make the fighting style similar to final fantasy 12 I just started the storyline a couple hours ago.

o btw, a great rpg is Zalirea RPG, i find that rpg extremely fun lol. ill have to find it in my map database n give it to u, and wat do u mean by hack n slash, do u naruto xtreme rpg type or naruto rpg beginnings type

Hack'n'Slash = Crash RPG... you kill enemies and come back to base to heal. Nothing else -.-'

X-Men RPG - Pretty much the same thing as Crash but TEN TIMES BETTER

IT IS SO GOOD

Uprising has little story, and a linear questline, with a few optional (but always done) quests. Units like fiend, fighter, assassin, and ranger don't have any special abilities, and the fiend doesn't even have a secret, whereas fighter and ranger have 1, and the assassin has 2. The archer, shapeshifter, summoner, and mage all have spellcasting abilities, but it's pretty minimal. Still, it's fun.

I have an overflowing list that I couldn't write down all. Most of them are old maps though, no colour in them, no stacking, nothing.

One of my all time favorites was Honourless by PGConquerer. He also makes some awesome WC3 RPGs under the alias TaurigRitter.

I'm guessing this thread was moved? Because at first I thought it was asking about RPG games, not Starcraft RPG maps. Looking over the types of mapping forums, this thread is a bit of an oddball, but I don't think it belongs in Null. At the very least, it ought to go into Games with a bit of clarification added to the first post. What this post demonstrates, however, is that there is a missing forum for mapping -- a general mapping discussion forum (like how there's a general modding discussion forum), unless you consider Theory to be such (in which case that's where this belongs).

Deathknights 2 and 1 were hack and slash.

I have played all of the RPGs on that list, except Deep Blue RPG. Can anyone that has the map host it in the download database? Thanks in advance.
