My father works as a Map Maker in this country. He has a very hard time achieving his objective. He is given a large area of terrain, which he must cross on FEET, draw every single house he finds, ask for the name of the owner, look if it's inhabitated or ruined, if it's a store, a shop, etc. and he must do his work no matter the weather (unless, the country is in alarm state, of course), so if it is raining, his superiors will limit themselves to say "Take a bag to cover the work and do wahtever you have to do to finish it". He has to finish one of these large areas of terrain in 1 day, so he can cover up to 5 in a week.

Once he has finished one of this areas, he has to re-do the draw in another large paper, "Just in case the original copy is tattered", no matter the state of the actual page.

Once he has finished doing all of those, he has to imput the name of the owner in a list of diferent paper sheets, the name, the ubication and everything else about this house/person. in His work times are around more than 8 hours... Almost from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm or whatever time he finishes his work. He usually gets home at 5:00 or 5:30, and then sits to complete these paper sheets, dinner time gets here (in this country it's around 7:00 - 9:00 pm) and he is still sitting on his table.

The objective of his work is, keeping the maps actualized so other specialized workers go there and gather information of X number of homes, depending on the size of the area.
