Why do you think that this site, according to polls, is 80% democrats?

I believe that it may have something to do with the higher amount of homosexuals that play games. Possibly, they support the movements of gay marriage within the Democratic party? (I am trying real hard not to be a troll and to start flame wars.)

Okay, so you're saying 80% of SEN are homosexuals? Being a democrat barely has anything about homosexualism. A Democrat can favor gay marriage or they won't. It's all about being a Liberal __________ or a Conservative __________. Democrats have other views too. Have you thought that these "democrats" on SEN supports Democratic parties because they favor health insurance and other issues dealing with oil and energy? Also the matter of global warming.

I don't even know where you got that 80% from. Did you go around interviewing everyone? Only a small fraction of SEN actually cares or even bothers to look into polls. I for one, am not a democrat.

Personally I'm independent but I favor the democratic party much more this year, particularly because they are going to get the troops out of Iraq.

Your argument is non-sequitur. Homosexual != Gamer, democrat != homosexual, and gamer != democrat. The way you stated your argument also seems very troll-like.

It could just be that we aren't rich , so we don't favor the rich (referencing Bush's tax cuts).

I think it has to with youth. When we get old enough to start empathizing with things, we sorta get out of hand and try to understand everything, or save everything, etc. But then you grow up. You need money. You can't afford to be so generous anymore. You need to value yourself above others most of the time. A great number of white males consider themselves liberal while young and gradually move towards the conservative spectrum with age.

I don't think it has anything to do with being homosexual, although dems tend to be more sympathetic towards them. It's still not a large enough demographic to be considered the sole cause. There are far more African Americans that are democrats than there are gays.

There are a lot of homosexual republicans and conservatives, but being religious or homosexual has nothing to do with it. Politics does not equal religion. Most politicians considers themselves Christian so they can get the majority of the votes.

Kids are typically democrats, plain and simple. It's hard for a kid with liberal parents to be conservative until they have to start paying serious taxes. It's fairly easy for a kid with conservative parents to go to college and be a liberal.

"Kid" is used loosely, and includes people in their early twenties.

That is such a stupid assumption to make. Sure, some parts of the north is liberal. Heck, The majority of New York City is liberal because of the minorities. But I am not from the south, I'm from the North and I am conservative.

The exception that proves the rule. Yes, there are conservative northerners and liberal southerners, but as a whole, that's what it is. Democrats have it made with the north and republicans have it made with the south (well, usually. the republican-conservative and democrat-liberal ties aren't 100% firm, but they're close). Generalizations are generalizations. They're general, and this one's correct.
