Nothing new to be honest, I think the world has heard enough dirt bands, you need to really improve on lyrics, get better bass lines, get a better drummer, and i'm sorry SOLAR, if you are the vocalist as mentioned previously, your voice sounds good for a parody movie on flash but that's about it, you sound way too fake like your nose is blocked or something.

I mean good job, good quality and all, first your first thing (I hope your first) but I still reckon you're not exactly cutting edge...

I think some good songs that are unique to look at would be...

(This is about to be a really long list with a few bands frequently selected, if you're too lazy to listen to every song, the first minute or two should give you a good idea of how the song goes...)

Fluorescent Adolescent - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N64QMKEbJQg
I think this song is particularly good because the song has a boatyard kinda feel to it, and then when I watched the video, the video takes place in a boatyard, so, I think the music definitely fits the video and has a great feel to it.

A Certain Romance - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJO1DxEWaD8&feature=related
This song is amazing live, it has the elements of moshing at the start with the fast speed and drum beat, then it goes into a quiet part where though simple, the guitar has a semi-epic sound to it, moving into a bouncy kind of sunny feeling. Another good part about this song is the lyrics are Social Realism, meaning that it's observations of society then written down, in this song they cover the chav and indie cultures from the UK.

When the sun goes down - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2W_hEdt1Xes&feature=related
Starts out harmonic with vocals being clear and once again Social Realism, it later on boosts into a faster paced song, the story thickens, overall a pretty decent song.

Dancing Shoes - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5H1sqXNZkbE
A very unique sound for Arctic Monkeys, it definitely fits the theme they aimed for.

Wonderwall - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAPtTS0TYtU
I need not say much for this song, it's pretty much just another amazing hit by Oasis, catchy riffs, unique singing, very relatable by the public.

Champagne Supernova - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3C7DECI0jU&feature=related
A long long song, doesn't really need to be that long, but it's pretty unique, the lyrics fit the idea of being tripped out, they dont necessarily make sense, but when sung they still sound really good, it's not just dirty singing to dirty guitar, it's built up in layers, not every instrument needs to be playing the whole song, they come in and come out when need be.

Viva La Vida - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QulYSXQPC2Q
Hardly fair for me to ask you to make a song like this, it's pretty much epic. This is just a clip of the song, but if you listen to the whole song, the lyrics are meaningful, they are very unique, the singing is once again clear, and the instruments arn't just smushed together.

So I guess the point is, not a whole deal of people are going to like listening to your stories, whether it may be getting drunk, or getting high being with your friends whatever it may be, you need to step above that and make lyrics that are relatable from a wide perspective of people, a sound that is a lot cleaner and definitely musically structured. I am not going to lie, I didn't listen to every one of your songs, and I didn't listen to the whole of any of them, but I got bored and was semi-appauled... I am trying to help, so :D!

I would have to say... for my tastes... this band is aptly named. Can't say I'm a fan, but so long as you guys are having fun that's great.

Alittle better recording quality could help, but a recording is only as good as it's source material (and if you don't like the material in the first place, it's totally moot).

You stole my joke :(.

I know it's hard in a garage, but personally I would like some more bass, fine tune some lyrics. But good job so far, keep fleshing out your sound and you might just be onto something.

Why? None of it's that special. It's a pretty good rift, but they just go with it throughout the whole song basically. There's the solo at around 2:00 that has some cool licks... reminded me of Audio Slave because of a little of the weirdness and sloppiness to it, which at points sounded good. I liked some of it Solar, but all in all it's pretty average. About the lyrics, rocks out with his cock out? Really? I mean, music is expression and if you guys are having fun and everything then I'm all for you. But that song was not for me. Nonetheless I'd like to see some more songs.

Btw I watched "Devan Drum Solos" and I couldn't get through it. Is it just me or does he seriously struggle to keep in time.

My best wishes to you with your band Solar.

Hey, I am in a un-official band with a few mates too, we dont really categorize ourselves for the most part...

Amzad has the following musical background:
Trumpet, Bass, Guitar, Piano, Vocal, Drums and he has conducted a full Wind Ensemble and won a huge Music award with scholarships to universities.
Diego has the following musical background:
Guitar and Bass (minor Vocals too)
Dagui has the following musical background:
Bass
I have the following musical background:
Bass, Guitar, Piano, Vocal and I am learning Drums.

All of us have our weaknesses and strengths really, but we're just four friends that enjoy playing around and actually have a considerable amount of talent o.o
We just dont spend all our time writing songs or learning songs... Learning to cover pretty much any song will take us half an hour to get it down perfectly (assuming we have access to the instruments required) and writing a new song can take little over 10 minutes but we often find ourselves just playing acoustic whilst sitting under the stars singing, it's fun :D

The sword and the faith

I wasn't impressed SOLAR.

Lyrics need to improve a lot, I think you can sing better with some training, and I know you can improve recording quality.

Best of luck man. It ain't an easy thing to keep a band together, and even harder to make it a success. But it's something I'd love to be doing right now if I had the option.

I don't think you really have the voice for Breaking Benjamin, to be honest... And the guitar sounded a little out of tune...

So I listened to a couple more songs.

I really like 'Awful Good'. I love the chorus. It reminds me of something else, but I can't put my finger on it. And what's up with the random drum part at the end of that?

I don't understand "Don't Give it to Me". It doesn't work for me.

I must say, I want to hear more.
