I am making a RPG and I need help with my heal spells. How can I make the spell heal the player a certain amount of hit points? Without using the medic because that's not instant and you can make the medic do other things.

-VHP (Virtual Hit Points)
-EUD (Extended Unit Deaths)

Well, I've made a really crappy way. But it still uses medics but. It removes and creates so you don't see them that much. It sucks but best i can think of besides EUD's

You want to have your map so that when you level up, you gain more hitpoints for your heal spell?
When the player is at level set 'anyunit' deaths to one.
Then have the trigger for healing be like so:
-Current player brings at least one men to loc 'heal'
-'anyplayer' has suffered exactly 1 deaths of 'anyunit'
-Modify unit hitpoints for current player set to 'pik a %'
-preserve trigger
And when the player lvls up, add 1 death to 'anyunit' so your next trigger's level will look like:
-Current player brings at least one men to loc 'heal'
-'anyplayer' has suffered exactly 2 deaths of 'anyunit'
-Modify unit hitpoints for current player set to 'pik a %' larger than the last trigger'
-preserve trigger
Also if you wanted different locations to heal different amounts.. that should be common sense.

A building, perhaps? A beacon? If it's for a spell that you can cast in the middle of no where, you could use explosions. Hallucination deaths look and sound fairly harmless.

People seriously need to stop giving long and complicated answers. A medic works fine. No pub is going to care that they see a medic. If it's healing, they know it's working.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

We cannot modify the healing energy effect and speed of medics. Or can we?

You create them and remove them really fast.
8 times a in-game second isn't going to get you 250 health in 1 second, and I actually think that would heal more slowly.
