Can you make a unit unable to move but still killable?

I'm guessing that when you move a unit (or order it) via triggers, that it will not be killable?

If you order it, it will be killable, but is not practical if there are a lot of the same unit. If you constantly move it, a zergling may be able to attack it, but most units will not be able to lock on. You could stasis the unit and disable invinciblity, you could maelstrom it, or you could lockdown it.

If you move to an implacable area the unit will not be able to move, can be attacked and can attack but won't be killable.

I suppose constantly ordering to 1 spot will keep them from move and have them be killable, however they cannot attack.

Or surrounding it (assuming its a ground unit) with for instance, Dark templar.

You could detect when it leaves the location, use an inverted location for the most perfect precision, and then order it back.

The easiest way is to constantly move it to location that it cannot be moved to, this will freeze it. It can still be attacked, as far as I know, and it can still attack.

It can still be attacked, but most attacks will miss it and units attacking will keep losing their target.

You could just give it to a player that won't move when attacked (a computer allied to the attacker, neutral, etc.) and disable alliance with that player. =P

In random unit battle, you can use statis field (or whatever) and still attack the unit. Maybe you could do this?

I guess, all you have to do is disable invincibility on the stasised unit, but then you have a big ugly crystal :(
