Quote from Mini Moose 2707
On the rural flatlands of a small town, most people have gone to sleep. A gentle rain bathes the houses and businesses, but gradually intensifies. There is no thunder or lightning, but enough rain to keep most folk indoors. Only the moon and a single golden star shine in the overcast night. Overall, a fine cover is provided for murderous mischief.

On the outskirts of town, surrounded by acres of corn fields, a shady transacation is taking place. Four gentlemen, in two pairs meet in a small clearing of the crops. Removing his obnoxiously reflective sunglasses, a man removes a small and ornate gray box and key from his jacket. He passes it to a man with antlers in the other pair. Unlocking the box, the man with antlers peers inside, and smiles. "Good, excellent. You kept your end of the bargain," he says, locking the box shut and passing it to his friend. Reaching inside his coat, he deposits the key and takes out a money clip. "one, two, three..." he counts out stacks of $100 bills into his seller's hands until he reaches the $50,000.

"Good doing business with you," says the man in a thick German accent as he stuffs the cash into his vest. As he adjusts his tie, seven clicks of guns are heard from around the entire space of the transaction. Several forms emerge from the shadows and gesture towards the box and the money, "We'll be taking those". "Mafia, I should known" remarked the man with the antlers. The mafia made a simply but cryptic reply: "Yes, I have moved." Various words were exchanged in argument as everyone spoke at once. Little sense was made for those ten seconds, when the mafia opened fire. Bullets, similar to the rain pounding the ground, went into the two pairs of men, who die before even falling to the floor. As the mafia loot the corpses for the money and the box, lights flash on in the distant farmhouse. The mafia hurries up before they can be caught, and neglect to search for the key to the box.

Abandoning the corpses among the crops, the mafia makes a quick and artful escape. The owner of the farmhouse discovers the bodies and notices a glint of metal from one of the fallen corpses. Taking the key and placing it in his pocket, he returns home to notify the police. The body of Mini Moose 2707 and the other men are promptly buried the next morning. The burial rites are not quiet among the restless town craving revenge. Before the shovels even bury the final corpse, the town begins expedient erection of a guillotine. Horns blare to gather the town into the town hall, all of the townspeople gather for their first lynching.
Here are a few interpretations I had right after reading the post:
Lots of buisness references - I remember Farty saying that his parents have a buisness and that his summer job was to help them sell stuff. Perhaps some SEN members said that they want to start some buisness in future life?
moon and a single golden star - anyone interested in astronomy?
transacation - again, a buisness term. Also may be related to banking.
50,000 and 100 - the only thing I could think of is to divide 50,000 by 100, thus getting 500. The 500th member is irrelevant, but the 500th topic was made by BeDazed (this is it, I think). lul he's not playing. The 100th post in this topic belongs to FlyingHat.
Why did the mafia reply "I have moved" instead of "We have moved"? As if there's a leader or it considers itself as one entity. Maybe something tonnected with leadership or unity?

I don't suggest to lynch anyone I mentioned, just some thoughts. Of course, if more clues pointing to those people show up, they will become suspects.

Jun 27 2008, 11:05 am Lingie Post #263

Oh yeah guys, I love how I'm accused of being the "Starter of the drama". And wtf? "Get off my brothers dick"? Fuck you kiddo.

I'll begin by saying that EzDay started the drama when he decided he'd mock me after I told him to make an interpretation. Then doodle attacked me because I made some [half] intellegent interpretations against him. Then Farty decided to go personal vendetta against me for no fucking reason, and attacked me for picking doodle. THEN the REAL bandwagon occured. Everyone decided to start picking me and some changing their vote to me. 6 in a row. And I was called out for being in a bandwagon? Those who haven't voted, I HOPE this'll open your eyes, those who haven't voted. The mafia are definitaly trying to off me without wasting the night.

And again, my origional rant. Those accusing me.. WHY DON'T YOU GUYS TRY TO INTERPRETE A CLUE. You're all just uselessly attacking and voting for me. Well, I can't say uselessly if you're all actually mafia. But I can tell you this. My death will only bring out the mafia. End of story.

Are you sure about that?

Echo, EzDay, frazz and Farty have all good arguments. Arguments I can beleive. frazz's argument was pretty strong. And there is no real strong clue pointing towards Doodle77, so...

I vote Darkling

I'll take no-interpretations over wrong ones.
The most I might be "good" at ( a stretch of the term ) is recognizing what matches Moose's writing, not deriving from it. Y'see, I leave that to the people who are semi-competant.

Thigh high affectionado

I do belive you guys need to ease up on Ling, hes only trying to help. Those choosing to ally themselves with people accused then passing blame is helping nobody.

We need people to make COUNTER statements from clues to prove innocence.

I belive thats why hes acting the way he is. There is possibly ONE clue stated that could go against me, "Shady", but it isnt enough compaired to "Artful, 7s" against doodle.

You can be Mafia and a Shapeshifter at the same time? I'd like some confirmation on this, please.

As for the current voting status: I will officially abstain my vote for the day; while Darkling did turn suspiciously aggressive when the anti-Doodle train got derailed, I don't think that we've got any really damning evidence yet. Further investigation must take place.

On another note, has anybody really considered the box that got jacked off of Moose? They've got the box, but we've got the key. Additionally, the contents of the box are both very secret and very valuable. What could possibly be worth 50 grand, but still be contained in such a small box?

ahh damn he got here first.

I abstain due to inferior evidence and several seemingly unrelated bandwagons.

Just here for the pie

I found a rather suspicious clue (It has been discussed before this post, but I interpretted it more in depth.)

The mafia saying "I have moved in" may be DapperDan, because only a leader would refer to a group as "I", or perhaps, that man is being led by someone from a remote location, and the 7 clicks of guns are from 6 people, 1 of them duel-wielding (This one is a badass Mafia Member). DapperDan is a known Sen Mafia Mayor, who must lead the town to victory.
