can the map be single player?

Single player maps are allowed and multiple entries CAN be allowed. I might modify the rules... we'll see.

If you do allow multiple maps, you should split the score among the maps.

Its not like I would have been, "YOU'RE NOT ON TEH LIST!!!1oen! BAN!"

Then what's the point of the list anyway? 95% of the people on the list aren't going to submit a map.

So I know how many maps to expect. And so people visiting the site will be liek, "HEY A MAPPING CONTEST!!! ITS ACTIVE."

Its all about psychology.

Regardless of how many people say they're going to submit a map, you should expect around 6 maps. That's a liberal estimate.

If anything it's only going to be a negative thing, because after the contest people will be able to compare how many people said they were participating and how many actually made a map. And it will be like OMG 1000 people said they were going to enter but only 3 did!

Even better. People will realize that they can win just by submiting a map.

But they still won't, and they'll never win when I'm a participant anyway.

And if people start doing that then the quality of maps will just go down. They won't even bother working on it, and they'll just submit anything.

Then its a matter of one person being better than the others -- without having attitude.

Sure you could say one person is better than another, when they get 2/50 over 1/50.

I MIGHT participate, however, it all depends whether or not I can get myself to do it and if I have time. I kind of suck anyways.

Havok can't map with me so he is dropping and its just me =[.Thought I would let you know.
Edit: Just freaking great I relooked at our map it is not only based on the theme but, on out team mapping friendship ,So this means I have to drop.I swear Havok leaves at the worst of times =[.
So remove me Our map can't be completed without the team mapping .
