To tell the truth, there really are no countries that are a true Democracy, most are a mix of a Republic and a Democracy.

You didn't play nice here, so I guess I'll do the same: you're a total retard for trying to compare Communism and Democracy. They are two different types of government, meant for people with two different mentalities (a russian must have someone with a whip standing infront of him to work good. That's why Russia today is so corrupt and swimming in shit), and are meant to achieve different goals. Communism, like a totalitarian state, can provide a quick economy growth (like Communits Russia after WW1), but offers less stability, while Democracy is more stabile but offers less growth.

Get used to the thought that every government type has it's strong and weak points.

I know that each government has its strong points, but the way that most countries are performing communism is a lot worse than how communism is supposed to work, and also notice that all countries without communism are pretty much no longer third world countries?

By the way, I forgot to mention that you didn't quite understand what that phrase means. It means that all forms of government suck, but Democracy is a bit better than the rest (still sucks though).

Communit states must change ther government type after the quick growth period has ended, because it is followed by a period of slow progress afterwards. Communism did it's job for them, and it is no longer needed.

I really don't think Democracy is the best, I'd say that a Republic would be the best way to go, which is really what most forms of "democracy" in countries is.

There is no best or worst form of government. There is only what is suitable in a particular place at a particular time.

Rather a trivial point, but I would just like to point out that many countries that are democratic are actually not a republic (United Kingdom, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Netherlands, etc)

This whole topic is useless. Everyone has missed the point of the first post. That quote was said by Winston Churchill saying that in his opinion democracy is the best form of government, but like all forms of government has it's flaws.

Why this got into an argument over which form of government is better is beyond me. I think Falkoner misinterpreted the first post.

Democracy is not a bad form of government, capitalism is a bad.

Capitalism is not a form of government.

Most people think because we called Soviet, "commies" derived from Communism; they mistake it is some kind of a government. But it's not. It's an economic system of a nation owning all possible property and equally distributes money/food/good/clothing to its people. Most COMMUNIST COUNTRIES had a Dictatorship government.

Capitalism is a form of economic system too, mostly run on the free market system.

People can be relied upon to be stupid. The best forms of government take that into account.
