Jokes are funny. Doing something like "You're an Asshole " is not a joke and not funny. If all people have to do to flame and get away with it is put a smiley next to it...

I generally reply when I'm actually on my computer, or when I return, or when I have some free time. Usually people aren't available when I return a message though. My computer is on 24/7... I'm not.

Hmm. A bit off topic, but what was that old site of yours called yoshi? The one before SEN (where you were known as Technical Death)?

I'm assuming this is meant for me. The problem is SP's first post does not call you an asshole, but you're assuming he came he with malicious intentions. The closest similarity to the phrase "you're an asshole" in SP's first post is the fact that he used the word "you" and the letter "a" a few times. It doesn't change that it appears you flamed him more than he flamed you. Given that the majority of the community does not know the backstory between you and SP, it looks like you were going off on him for no reason. In fact, given that so few people left here these days actually recognize SP, the majority of us never placed much value on what he said and his remarks were pretty much harmless.

I understand that a lot of people are not going to like you to returning to SEN, and that you will encounter a lot of flaming, but that isn't a reason to assume someone you don't like is flaming. Or in short: don't create problems where there aren't any.

For now we're all confused so I'm just going to drop it at this point and apologize for any misunderstandings.

As for the rest of you that are still unhappy, I suggest you read this, and especially pay attention to what I said here:

Don't listen to what people say. If there's one thing I've learned from making maps, it's that people are full of it. Bnet kinda proves that.

Now there's some words of wisdom.

I'm saying in the act of saying that people don't flame in Maplantis is "bullshit" You proved my point because in your responce you were in fact "flaming" Due to the fact you said "Saying there is no flaming in maplantis is complete and utter bullshit." The utter bullshit part is what turned it into a faming message and has also proved that you were being immature.

Saying something is bullshit does not make you immature, or flaming. Now maybe if he had quoted you but changed your name to "I'm a big hardon" that would be immature. But saying something is bullshit is not, it means he's outstanded by your claim of something that isn't true.

What isn't immature but completely fucking annoying is people who try to act like Moderators and know what the fuck "flaming" is when their whole attitude is utter bullshit.

In the second part, if you're referring to me, I wasn't trying to act like a mod, I was just appalled by the way the community responded to Tau changing Toa's profile to stuff like "I like men". Then with him to come in with a claim like "There is no flaming at Maplantis" was just ridiculous.

He was talking about sunslap, who was being an annoying as shit. GF was pretty much right, so was minimoose.... I don't know what it is about SEN that makes people turn nothing into 3 pages of ridiculous arguements, and explanations. O yeah, the spam factor, but even still... I don't even think that is what's doing it. I just don't quite follow all the bullshit, get over it people, christ.

Anyways, Yoshi pays way too much attention to the people who dislike what he does and the sites he makes. The overwhelming majority of the people love maplantis, and think that yoshi/tau is the shit (me included), and that is what he should pay attention to. But, I also think that he likes to fix things that aren't broken. He does it all the time, and it can be annoying. (like shutting down maplantis when it is universally loved and merging with SEN, and ignoring all offers to help him out). He knew that by making this move, lots of people would be pissed, but I don't think he fully understands the reasons why, and it causes confusion. That then leads onto other things... some sorts of flaming, ect. Anyways, these are just minor flaws in the mapping lord that is yoshi.

With all the arguing that's going on in here, maybe we should just make a seperate topic for it in Null...

Would probably be locked in like 5 minutes.
