I see. I guess I was too hasty. But I'm enjoying the Alternate campaign. StarCraft: The Alternate Campaign was the first to play a remaster-only draft. I'll always be rooting for you.
Global - Finished custom voiceacting for Primal Zerg, adding custom voicelines for Chitans and advisor's lines.
Global - Improved mineral layouts on most of the maps; there shouldn't be any inaccessible mineral fields left.
Global - Minor improvements to overall AI performance.
Protoss 10 - Changed Purple AI to Blue for better readability; script is retained.
Terran - Added full voiceacting for Mengsk.
Terran - Changed dialogue lines for Duke & Stukov - now 90% less cringe.
Terran 08 - Changed Purple AI to Blue for better readability; script is retained.
xTerran - Added full voiceacting for Duran.

xTerran 7 - CNV Norad II renamed to CNV Destiny.

xProtoss 04 - Improved Primal AIs, should be more active and upgrade more consistently now.

There will be no major updates from this point (although compatibility patches still might happen), so if you wanted to play but struggled to keep up with constant changes, now's the time.
After 9 months of Alternate's main six episodes being in the finalized state (well, if you can call it that way), Im here to give you a few updates. First of all, there's now a new patch that fixes some issues that slipped by in the past:
Global - Fixed Raszagal's wireframe.
xZerg 7 - Fixed a rare crash at the mission start.
xProtoss 09 - Fixed DSS Aleksander suddenly being able to cloak.
Readme - Updated to include new contributors.
In addition, there are now two translated versions linked in the topic - Korean by Error404 (you might have seen his work on Episode 5 before) and Russian by C@HeK. Currently, both of them feature only some of the missions (2 full episodes in KR version, 2 partial ones in RU version), but those packs will receive further updates until the translation is complete.
I decided to check out your campaign tonight. Really cool stuff, it's immediately clear how much work went into this!
One bug I found so far is that in the second mission I can research, say, carapace research in the newly acquired center base and then I still had the option to research it at my original base's own evo chamber as well.

Are you sure you didnt just cancel it on the rescued base? I cant imagine why it would behave this way.

I am certain. I had the option to start a second carapace research of the same level while I had my first carapace research still researching, to be clear. It was in the progress of researching. I was surprised by it myself.

On test playthroughs that seems like a likely possibility. Additionally, I found that if I rushed the hydra to the central base as fast as possible I could get there with a Ranged Attack upgrade in progress from when the AI had control. Clicking said upgrade to cancel it crashed the computer. This might also explain why Carapace 1 felt like it took forever.

Yeah, thats a Blizzard's own meme bug. We've been attempting to make a fix that wouldnt involve handicapping the AI with upgrades, but so far without success.
There is a Korean project that aims to create Starcraft 2 Alternate, but as far as I know UEDCommander himself only plays a supporting role in that The base Alternate will never get ported to SC2 by UEDCom

Ah, the Empire grows. You should check out samase mod loader here on SEN if you want to work on custom AIs, as your readme indicated. There is also an .mpq file attached to the original post in this topic that can be used in scmdraft to facilitate proper mod usage.
I've been getting this error ever since I updated to the recent version of BW A, it happens every time I beat a level. The entire game crashes. I'm able to play the next one but this is gonna be tedious.

The parts I put in bold say something unclear to me. Is it "compatible with Remastered" or does it "require Remastered" ? I only have and will only have 1.16.1, so it's probably incompatible with me, but I may as well ask for others in a different situation.

Compatible, cause there's also latest 1.23+ of "original" BW w/o Remastered on which this mod will also run. Not 1.16 though.
