I didn't realize this still worked in present version SC, I thought they patched out drone flight stuff a long time ago. What's the technique?
1) setup minimum game speed for controlling your actions
2) you need geyser without extractor
3) also you need seeing minerals where you want to go your drone
4) set 2 actions through shift (1 - build extractor, 2 - go to the minerals)
5) when drone will start build, stop this action
6) if you pressed stop many times, you can stop the drone from mining, otherwise everything will work out
Oof. Looks like they at least patched it to make it incredibly inconvenient to use. You used to be able to aim a drone at any location, mineral or no, vision or no and you didn't have to fiddle with telling the drone to stop because you could just get enough mins to build the extractor and then spend them before attempting to build the extractor and it would go like that.
To answer the OP question: another bug which can have some limited usefulness is you can add perma-cloak to zerg units by unburrowing them exactly as an arbiter's cloaking field comes into range with the zerg unit. The timing can be a little difficult to learn, but once you get it, it's pretty straightforward. And perma-cloaked Devouring Ones and Hunter Killers are pretty deadly forces. Burrowing and unburrowing the zerg unit again removes the cloak effect.
