I wanted to ask all of you (and probably, especially Nekron, since he listed the AI commands and functions here, well in another site.) if you guys wouldn't mind there being a StarCraft AI in Visual Studio Code Format? I thought it would be cool and it would improve quality of life on a few things, like debugging and troubleshooting. Wait, I think that was the same thing. Just one other thing though... If you made the custom AI file, what exactly is the extension for custom and campaign AIs? I missed that memo when I looked at them and haven't caught on yet.
None.

Wait, Blizzard sold the right of StarCraft to the StarEdit staff?
I don't understand the post, but that's one of the interpretations I get of it
We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch
Wait, Blizzard sold the right of StarCraft to the StarEdit staff?
Nope. But sc has been reverse engineered to allow for creation of AIs. For more info check
bwapi
Sorry for the misunderstanding. Basically, what I was really trying to ask was just to transcribe coding to another programming environment?
None.
SDE, BWAPI owner, hacker.
BWAPI has been the standard for modern Starcraft AI (Visual Studio, C++, injected as a hack), but for campaigns and stuff you would use AIScript (modding) which you can't add any new features to. Unless
llvm-bw were finished which would let you compile a BWAPI bot into a map, but that's likely not going to be finished any time soon.
EDIT: Or are you talking about custom syntax highlighting for AIScript.bin for Visual Studio Code?

You can inject modified aiscript.bin files into a map, though. I've just remade Eye of the Storm and made Daggoth (red) forces attack with hunter killers
http://www.staredit.net/topic/17511/No need to mod. Only EUD's. Fully compatible with remastered. Just needed PyAI and

Oh! Uh, True, but Yes I was talking about syntax highlighting for the aiscript.bin, not anything to do with BWAPI.
But at this point, I think I'm good. It's already successful and there is probably already syntax highlighting with PyAI modules.
EDIT: Probably should've said "syntax highlighting" in the title somewhere.
None.
I'm confused, is this literally just about syntax highlighting? I would recommend Notepad++ then since there's already a custom style there made by Veeq, though initially reading this I was under the impression that you want to share all the raw code or sth lol. You can hit him up about it (veeq7) on SEN discord

I didn't even know SEN site had a discord! No, that's okay, I've basically changed my mind about this subject now at this point. I already realized that Notepad++ does very well processing this code and syntax highlighting.
Basically, nevermind what I said.
None.
