Just to let me be lazy: can you PM me such a wav file? Then I'll see if I can track down what is going on.
Ok, it will be fixed in the next build, it was overflowing in the calculation.
I uploaded it a couple days back, giver it a try

So we can resize the Classic Trigedit window now. Thank you for that. However, my complaint is when I close and re-open this window, it returns to its default size.
Is this a bug, or a feature? Surely every user would prefer their custom sized window to retain the preferences they've set for it?
Many thanks.
Which of the (newer) builds support the SCR string tables? Looks like I've sleepwalked past the (classic) string limit in one of my maps recently, so even downgrading is no longer an option.
Serves me right for meticulously commenting every tiny trigger.

Do you make a lot of backups? Best thing to do in your case would be to lose the work and restart from the backup before it converted over.
I gotta say I do find it remarkable that even today no one has figured out how to store comments outside of the string limit.
Thanks but not sure why I need to be alarmed apart from finding the compatible editor versions? The current one serves me well but I may want to update in the future. Besides, I still can't set the locale to unicode, and that might be necessary (or at least cool to have) in the future. So I'd need a version of the editor supporting both.

The last couple of alphas support the extended strings, the beta released doesn't.
Thanks!

It isn't hard to store comments outside of the string table. It just wouldn't be compatible across all the different tools, many of which aren't being upgraded anymore.

Well it's no big deal for me personally (I guess), but if it can be implemented easily (better yet, as an option), why not? (What are those other tools, anyway. :-))
Also, does any of the newer alphas support the locale setting? The one I still have, the first one with the extended string support (I haven't updated since for fear of breaking compatibility, as I had in the past) still doesn't save that setting on closing the profile dialog box.

Yea!
SI, I got another issue I desperately need help with.
I am trying to translate my map, when I put the characters in, save, open and close the map, all the characters have turned into question marks.
꼭 그 녀석들에게 복수합시다. 한명도 빠짐없이.
Вы осторожно гладите гигантского зверя.
^ example of the characters I'm using.
Вы осторожно гладите гигантского зверя.
I love that line.
Guess the issue is the same I've mentioned; that Unicode is not settable for some reason in the commonly distributed versions.
I could sure use that for when/if I'll be working with non-English language maps. Maybe I'll get to translate my own project someday.
Trial and error... mostly error.

OMG the characters came out wrong even on this website! Guess I need to use a screenshot.
EDIT: Now they look normal again on the website, weird.
EDIT: Nevermind about this, I am using a tool by Tarferi to translate map without having to use SCMDRAFT.
EDIT: Nvm, tool doesn't work with the extended string version of the map.

It's really odd that it shifts from garbage to normal characters when viewed here. It takes a page reload in Chrome.

Okay, I fixed my issue. Sorry but it was nothing to do with SCMDRAFT. Basically, even though I had Korean language pack installed, there was another thing I hadn't done. So I will explain here in case anyone else has the same issue.
Go into Administrative language settings: Language for non-Unicode programs - Change system locale - check the box that says: "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support." This is on Windows 10 btw.

SCmDraft compiler crashing on me a lot, unusable.
Basically if I do a little change, it seems to compile fine, but when I try to find and replace many instances of something - crashes every time.
And trying to just find and replace even one line of text with Korean will crash it as well, even though I can insert that Korean into classic trigedit just fine.
Fixed the locale issue. It only saved it if you had automaximize checked, was using the wrong checkbox.
Can you send me a map that crashes and the text to search for and the text to replace with?
