This is probably a simple calculation, but if I have hyper triggers in my map, how many seconds in real time will it take for a DC to be 0 if it's decremented every cycle?
DC = startValue;
while DC > endValue:
DC -= 1
Or rather, what's the formula to estimate the seconds it takes if a DC is at some startValue and is decremented by 1 until it reaches an endValue?
None.
17 DC = 1 real life second
with hyper triggers at #x2.99

Assuming the game speed is on fastest.
A trigger cycle is 84 milliseconds with hyper triggers, so to calculate exactly one second, you divide 1000 milliseconds by 84.
1000 / 84 = ~11.9047619
Therefore, approximately 12 DCs is equivalent to one second.
