Yeah I did paste with a blank clipboard.
Alright, then he changed I did yesterday will have fixed that.
cool, thanks! Also noticed you fixed the undo issues recently, thanks for that as well.
Any chance for ctrl+enter as a hotkey for 'ok' (confirming changes) in classic trigedit? usually enter does the job but when you're editing text (comments etc) it's busy creating new lines.
I'll have to see - ctrl enter is commonly also used for multiline edit controls. Use tab + space/enter for now.
Oh, that hotkey works. I'll just learn to use that. Thanks!
You should be able to tab through every subwindow of scmdraft, if that is not the case anywhere let me know.
Option to resize the various subwindows would be great, not sure if it's possible. What do you mean by 'tab through'?
Classic trigedit subwindows? Window resize code is always tedious to write
Using the tab button to switch between subcontrols in windows. That should be standard windows interface design, but it needs to be enabled explicitly in some types of windows and the order can get messed up.
So far no issues with tabbing through. Trigedit subwindow resizing would be great if you're ever in the mood to do that.
edit: a hotkey to open classic trigedit/briefing editor would be nice too.
edit 2: weird issue when pasting a lifted barracks

I found the cause of the glitch, and have a quick fix, but I want to fix it properly instead. Right now pasting the flying barracks has a different Y offset depending on whether you are in the unit layer or copy / paste layer since the latter snaps to tiles, and that still shouldn't offset the units.
I second the trigedit window sizing thing. It's really annoying right now. Or at least make it like 40% wider by default.
None.
You can resize the main trigedit window. Just not the window for single triggers.
Uploaded new version with tileset morphing undo/redo code. Very niche feature, but wanted to get rid of that todo note.
Yeah, I mean make the window for each individual trigger resizable, or 40% wider. I often have actions that are wide and the whole text doesn't display.
None.
I think the "display text message" action needs the "always display" function removed. Just recently, I spent way to long debugging why text was not being displayed for a player. Turns out, every "display text message" action had the "always display" unchecked, which resulted in me having to re-check it for every single trigger.
Does anyone else find this annoying?
Could SI just remove that checkbox and have that flag always true?EDIT: I find some triggers with the "always display" disabled, yet it displays 100% of the time... Whats the point of the checkbox then?

I think it only matters for display text messages and unit transmissions; if it's unchecked, the text won't show up if the player has "show subtitles" disabled in the game options.
When using the middle mouse button to scroll, the scroll bar does not update.
I haven't looked at the 'always display' stuff in 15 years, I don't remember exactly when it is used and when it is not used. I hope that the logic in ScmDraft is accurate, but no promises.
Prongo: That should be a simple fix.
In classic Trigedit the search function requires you to type the full race before the unit (e.x
Terran Marine). Can the search allow us to just type in marine?
When we click on this dropdown menu can the terrain palette window pop up?
P.S I love you.
None.
Search: Right now that uses simple string matching to jump to the corresponding location. I may be able to add filtering of the dropdown contents + string matching, but no promises, I'm not sure how hackish that would end up being with the UI I made.
The selection in that dropdown is independent of the palette, since you can have multiple palettes set to different modes. I never came up with a good way of doing that + syncing to the dropdown. Perhaps it should sync if you only have one palette window open, but not sync if you have several open. Or pop up the palettes but not change their current setting. Or display the last recently used palette.

I Agreed With You.

@Suicidal Insanity. In: StarCraft Campaign Editor, it's always true. For Display-Text, and for Transmission. It should just be: Always Display. Checked on.
P.S: I have Alpha 0.9.0.4 when I hit just for updates there seem to be none...But I see you have did some updates but why is it not knowing there is new ones and why it not downloading them or letting me/us know? Thanks!
I make StarCraft BroodWar Maps! Servers I'm On: USEast/USWest!
