As some of you may have heard I will be launching my Twitch channel tomorrow and as part of my channel focus will be building my new streaming PC live. You can check that out
here. Its a good opportunity to learn about building, hardware, and part choices for a streaming rigg. You'll also have the opportunity to ask me questions during the build, as well as see me interact with some special guests.
Its surreal to think about how many builds I've helped come into this world, a good portion of them through this very forum, and now I get to take that one step further by making it a live and interactive process.
Come hang during the strim, its gonna be a good time.
Stream's still going on, but I figured I should post some suggestions while they're in my head:
- You were way too quiet for the whole stream. Even with the Twitch video volume turned all the way up, I could barely hear you.
- Wasn't really a big fan of the music. I get that you need something in the background for those periods of silence, but that style of music as ambience or whatever wasn't my thing.
- On the note of periods of silence, there were too many. Try to lead the conversation instead of relying on viewer comments to guide it. You're the expert here, it's your stream, share your knowledge with us and educate us. If you're assembling a computer, guide us through each step. We can see that you're putting screws in, but how are you doing it? What's your preferred method? What are some do's and do not's while building a computer? Why'd you pick the parts you picked (didn't see the beginning of the stream so I don't know if you covered this then)? Again, lead the conversation instead of relying on viewer comments to create one.
- Make sure you're staying on screen if you're doing stuff relevant to the stream. There were a few moments where you were screwing something into the case panel and you turned your chair so it was off-screen and we couldn't see anything.
- If you're going to do more computer builds in the future, I'd recommend getting a second camera and propping it above the case so that when the case is laying on its side, we can see what's going on in it. When you were installing the mobo and the other stuff, we couldn't see anything you were doing.
Really my main gripe was just the lack of commentary. You probably know more than anyone on this site about computers; tell us what you know.

I agree with most of what Dem0n said.
You should not really rely on the chat to have anything to say, you can, like, talk to yourself or something or explain what you're doing while you're doing it.
Like the reason I told you not to ban that dude was because if you banned we all would have nothing to talk about xD
Also you sort of get too distracted reading comments, which is a good thing when there's only a few and you can easily follow a conversation but if your channel grows this is definitely not something you want to do because then you'd spend minutes reading the chat. You sort of did took minutes which was ok but w/e

Tomorrow, or technically today as its the early hours of the morning. I'm about to go to bed, then I have to take down my current rigg to swap a couple parts into the new one, do windows, OBS, and get operational.

Agreed, you need to tone down its aggression. Otherwise your last stream was surprisingly chill and actually pretty good; it was nice to hear your thoughts on what decisions you were making, etc., even if no one was talking. Keep it up.
