Hi,

I was playing a custom map today on Battle.net called Diplo Infi. My opponent (Player 1, White) had seemed to have too much expo (killing computer player to get more income), so I watched the play.

In the replay, Player 1 (White)'s units all have black backgrounds when I select them. Furthermore, whenever they take damage from the Computer Play (light blue, neutral), they instantly heal all damage. Since there's no triggers that can detect damage and instantly heal all/any units, I'm assuming it's some kind of hack.

Can anyone confirm having seen this heal hack on Battle.net remastered before. How does it work and how can I stop it?

He's using a rigged map. When he brings his drone to a location at the bottom of that island in the top/left corner, it constantly heals his units via trigger.

It does seem like he's hacking...I saw what DarkenedFantasies said. But I am looking at the triggers....and there is no trigger for:
I crack open the map...I see no such trigger.

Unless you uploaded the wrong version...THAT you were playing on, OR he edit it...And you rejoin it, and downloaded the new file without the "Modify Unit Hit Points 100%."

I wanted to take a look at the map triggers but it's protected, and I don't have any map unprotector. But having watched the replay, his units healed anytime he had his drone at the bottom row of dirt rectangles. When he'd move his drone back up, the healing was disabled. Looks like a triggered action to me.

Could you provide me with the unprotected version? Then I could try to look for the trigger as well.

Does the trigger only work for Player 1 or any player?

The map you have uploaded doesn't have any rigged trigger, no. Cool-Knight did not see any and I double-checked myself as well and didn't find anything. So either this is the wrong/non-rigged map, or it's possibly a strange hack.

Do you remember if you downloaded the map when you joined his game? He probably renamed the map something else, and you might have uploaded the normal version of the map here instead of the rigged one that you played. Look inside your downloaded maps folder and sort them by date, it must be one of the recent ones... if it exists.

In any case, I'd keep an eye on that drone to know if a player is using such cheat, should you ever find yourself playing this rigged version again.

The replay file has the map embedded in it.

My quick guess is it's just a different, edited map file -- there are known to be rigged versions of that map going around.
