Thanks for the kind words. Yeah I am doing work on the map all the time.
I overhauled the crafting mechanics to use DCs instead of powerups so you can now have unlimited of each crafting component instead of four. Now I'm upgrading the Utility Belt system to DC as well. So instead of only being able to carry 4 of each Health Herb, Ether, etc. you now have a Utility Belt limit of 8 which you can fill up however you want, and you can also upgrade that Utility Belt limit at the General Store.
Main Quest and a side quest is complete.
You can now trade equipment between players, as well as compare an item in your inventory to your currently equipped item.
I also have made it so the game adjusts if a player leaves mid-game, so you can keep playing without them instead of having to remake.
So, yeah, that's where it's at at the moment. I would like to create two more side quests before I release the RPG. If there are enough strings left I will try and aim for three more side quests instead of two. I have the side quests conceptualised I just have to implement them. Still aiming for release this year.

Omg, your work is so damn amazing. It's really exciting to think we will eventually play this ! The quality of your maps is great and it's rare to see SC1 maps with such level of mastery. Always impressed. Thank you so much Oh_Man ! I'm definitely looking forward to play your Architect RPG with other people as soon as it comes out !!

Yep. Without a doubt I feel that the Architect represents the pinnacle of over 15 years of evolving mapmaking techniques. I've played an early version of it, and what I saw was absolutely incredible. The day the final version drops will be one to celebrate.
Yeah, same here. I've played it at some time along with Oh_Man and it was a pretty stunning experience. Plus, you really feel you are palying a RPG, the ingame atmosphere is great and is filled up with finny details

Thanks for the support man. Yeah I am working on the monastery one atm. I got slowed down a bit because I was working with a Korean on translating my map into Korean for the Korean community. They have shown interest as well. At this stage my plan is to finish these side quests, release English version, then release Korean version.
I recently started playing your Architect's current downloadable version. Picked Verius and tried to level him up for now, but it HURTS like hell as soon as he steps outside the city x_x I need some more practice to get used to his playing style.
I remember doing some easy killing with the rogue character though, since spawning infested terrans basically killed everything around back then I need to play it a bit more and get to the end of Act 1 to give more feedback.

Yeah I have tweaked him a bit since then to get him up to par with the other two characters. Basically I changed his passive mana regen to regen faster the more enemies are near him, so if you're in the thick of it you should be able to cast more spells. Also I'm reworking a couple of his spells.
This might be a noob question, but why is my map cursor spazzing out? It's pretty much forcibly centered on Verius and makes moving or clicking on anything impossible.
I must say I am impressed with this map. I know, I haven't been on StarCraft for over 5 years (Since EUD's showed up) but this is great. Nice work. To me this isn't even StarCraft anymore. It's something entirely different. Entirely better. I'm glad you put in the many years of work into this.
Ultraviolet shouted: How about you all send me your minerals instead of washing them into the gambling void? I'm saving up for a new name color and/or glow
