I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Falkoner... I always asked myself where he went as he disappeared a long time ago... well, far earlier than other people. The other people in the list still roam around here.

I am getting my masters degree in information systems (studied in English) in ~12 months (which is kind of set in stone as failing that requires you to be really lazy or stupid or you are caught in some serious accident), I have done payed work with Blizzard two times already and I have a small twitter following due to mostly Heroes of the Storm UI work.
Do I qualify?

Sep 3 2016, 5:29 pm zsnakezz Post #303

I'm the head delivery driver at my pizza shop, that is some sort of success right? LOL

But seriously though, AP English student for a long time, just never enjoyed school enough to actually stick with college.

Too much freedom was available at the time, and I had always just sort of really hated school, so I dropped out. Was literally incapable with handling the anxiety of living
with a bunch of strangers that I am supposed to be competing against.

And once you figure out being a good artist is basically chocked up to your abilities of problem solving, and knowledge of programs, it starts to lose its flair and enjoyment.
Not saying digital artists are bad, I'm saying I personally can't enjoy the process of making a GOOD digital painting. Art is stupid, if someone doesn't know who you are, and what you have been through, they don't have an accurate appreciation of your personal milestones or how much effort is or is not put forth on a particular work.

I'd rather just naturally one day put something together on my own that generates its own attention.

Thend.

Still school is always the best option in terms of success ratio. Go to school.

I made the following maps; Hyperion 2, The Undead, The Undead Coop, Realm Rpg beta, and Overlords.

I miss Harambe...

I don't know why people won't let Harambe rest in peace. For some reason the cesspool of the internet has suddenly declared themselves a gorilla experts and decided that the Cincinnati Zoo shouldn't be allowed to live down their decision. It shows a complete lack of empathy or compassion for a very serious decision that clearly no one even wanted to make.

Can someone please explain to me "dicks out"? Is this because gorillas don't wear clothes?

The thought is that by using something antagonistic, the idea of frontal nudity, they'll be able to bring awareness to a great injustice. It's like Save the Tattas for breast cancer - except the latter actually supports a reasonable cause.

she/her

I laugh at least once a day with my girlfriend and I don't feel constantly miserable, so despite not having a job, I consider myself as having achieved pretty high success.

Next steps are figuring out where to move, how to get a job, and when to return to school.

Honestly I just find the whole thing ridiculous and it makes me laugh that people took this thing this far. I know it's the internet and all, but christ.

"dicks out" has been a thing for at least 20 years, but as to why it gained traction for the whole Harambe thing, timing is probably all it was.

A surprising amount of former (U) members have achieved basically nothing in life, is why I chose to phrase it that way.

No. Kame does though.

The idea is to use absurdity as a means of mocking faux-activist social-signalling typified by e.g. facebook filters and social media posts.

I commissioned as an officer into the USAF a year ago. My first assignment is to get my Master's degree in computer engineering. I graduate in 6 months. I'd say I've been pretty successful in life. I've had a few failures along the way, but in the grand scheme of my life I imagine I'm off to a pretty good start.

Coincidentally, it appears Echo is in the same career field as me. There's a small chance I would actually meet him and we'd never know it.

Not sure what talented means in this context (I don't believe in natural born talent anyways), but most of the people who were at CC are very successful right now. Magic (SA admin) joined and then left Codemasters a few years ago, a CC staffer is a senior game designer at blizzard and most of the mexicans own their own homes and are doing pretty well for themselves. Phreak is riot's esports manager and had a history of casting in wc3 prior to that. I'm pretty much the only one who's looking at the end of the road rather than the beginning of it, but at least I have tried to be productive since I left BW and that's all I can really ask for given my circumstances.

I was recently invited to partake in an extremely active private community of old CC/SA forumers and most of them are also doing really well for themselves and many still actively work on creative ventures. Some have published indie games iirc.

Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.
