This is "The Undead Compete", the full MAP.
After a few years of leavin and comin back nom sayin?

Operate and defend bases, while waging offensives against the undead horde.
Experience a mix of classic zombie play but with a heavy interactive twist that encourages teamwork,
and other mechanics that make this map a unique and challenging experience.

Play single player or coop, both balanced for the most optimal experience.

More information on crud and stuff will be yont far from the horizon.

A bug fix patch addressing all remaining bugs has been made. Undead Coop is super unbuggy now.

made another patch. Call it the no internet snowed in so worked all day on map patch. It addresses a few things, and ive been updating the map download silently the past couple days. But From what I know, this map is bug free and contains some new zombie behaviors that I think will better compliment some new map functionalities added recently.

I kept the map version the same so you guys can overwrite the file, since this update doesn't change anything crazy.

8/13/2017Official Release

Major Gameplay Changes and Fixes;

+ You can now turn off vision and stack buildings.
~ This can be activated near the starting area.
+ There is now no limit to the amount of blimps you can leave in towns when leaving towns idle.
+ Players now take control of single buildings within towns that are under occupation from the other player.
+ 2 new bosses have been entered into the boss pool, making the number of possible bosses 3 to 5 unique enemies.
+ You can now beat the map by surviving against all the zombie invasions.
+ Defilers(Exoprawns) now have 4 tiers, all with different armor, later tiers giving them Plague.
! Late game defilers can now mess you up.


Balance and Upgrade Changes


+ Broodlings now give rewards upon death.
+ Broodlings do 100% Damage.
+ All men owned by player have received a health buff.
+ All mechanical units have received a substancial damage buff.
+ Templar that storm your army now have less health.
+ All bosses you fight have received health, damage, and reward updates.
+ You now receive a small gas reward for killing graves.
+ Slight terrain edits have been made to improve gameplay.
+ Cannons have been been balanced to have better damage/health vs price.
+ Some static enemy groupings have been re shaped to be more difficult.
~ Some enemies have been moved to make things more convenient as well.
+ Basic zombies have slightly more health.
+ Zombie Evolution also received a semi substantial buff.

This concludes most of the changes made for this version.

Note: This version is the complete intended experience of "The Undead Coop", and is to be treated as the final version aside from the final bug fix last effort patch that might follow later. Please report any bugs or ideas you might have to improve the map, and they will be considered for the final patch changes.

Developers Note: This is my favorite map I've made and worked on, if you are looking for a classic starcraft zombie map, this map will give you something slightly different. But i can say it has many fleshed out systems that can provide many unique and enjoyable gameplay experiences. Please try this map with a friend and report any problems you may have with this map.

8/23/2017

+ Fixed bug that causes civ in lights on light off to spawn with army after death.
+ Fixed bug where scv enters bunker instead of blimp causing confusion when leaving a base.
+ Fixed doodads that blocked starport addon.

+ Tried to fix glitch with zombie slug spawning protoss scarabs, but has yet to be confirmed in tests.
+ Player 1 can make battle cruisers again.
+ Battlecruisers have a decent bit more health, and deal a very decent bit of damage.
+ Kerrigans and hero zealots have more health, and do slightly more damage and should pose a slightly bigger threat in large numbers.
+ Cannons cost a bit less and have 1/3 the shields they had before, but also do slightly more damage.
~ Cannons can be used slightly more often and can be stacked, this combo is extreme powerful so i nerfed cannon shields considerably to compensate.
+ static zombie placements have been moved together more to be more comprehensive yet challenging.
+ Undead Manta bird boss now does more damage and has more health
+ Terrain now flows slightly better.
+ Many units, upgrades, rewards, have been modified to be more balanced, rewarding, and challenging.

The Undead Complete Patch Notes

+ Took yet another pass at fixing the civ light bug where civ spawns with group and doesn't return to light source.
+ Cannons cost 10 less minerals but have 10 more health and do 1 more damage.
+ Battlecruisers have +25 health and +1 damage.
+ Most upgrades now have +1 or 2 max. Example: Infantry weapons maxes out at 14 instead of 12.
+ Some other quality improvements.

Balance and Bug Update
(9/13/2018)
+ Ship and Vehicle upgrades max out at 10 (from 7), but cost 20 more minerals per upgrade.
+ Infantry Upgrades now max out at 18 (from 14).
+ All Terran buildings now cost substantially less.(-150 Minerals & -3 Gas from average building costs)
+ All Repair costs have been lowered for terran buildings.
+ Raynor + Sarah do +1 more base damage.
+ Top tier units will no longer clutter the last grave site and will allow base units to spawn in the 6th difficulty.
+ Zombie birds now provide +3 more minerals on kill.
+ Light switch glitch has been fixed.
+ Static zombie grouping is now more dense and intense.
+ Elite tier air units do more damage and have more health.

The Undead 2018
10/7/2018
+ Fixed all gameplay bugs.
+ Cannons now have more shields (+20) and health (+10) but cost +1 gas.
+ More zombies that spawn will now concentrate into areas before attacking as groups. More zombies now attack together in waves.
+ After killing 3 graves (Reaching the 4th difficulty), zombie spawns will switch to areas that still have graves.
~ If you kill the first 3 graves, they will no longer produce units, but the last 3 will produce more units.
+ Multiple elite types of zombies have slightly more health and damage.
+ Zombie slugs and Manta Bird Boss types have more health and deal slightly more damage.

SPOOKY UNDEAD HALLOWEEN UPDATE

+Zombie invasion mode added.

~Survive 1700 seconds against 9 undead hordes.

The Endings of The Undead:

- Kill 6 Nidus Canals.
~ Each Nidus Canal killed will increase the difficulty to the next level.
~ Each Nidus Canal killed will increase passive income by fractions of a second.
- Killing 6 Nidus Canals will spawn the Overmind.
* Kill the Overmind for the conventional victory
~ The entire map is balanced around this mechanic.

+ Wrath of the Elder
- Kill 5 Defilers, this spawns high templar.
- Kill 3 high templar.
! High templar have low health but can one shot your entire group.
- This spawns a high level boss pack that completely destroys one of your towns.
* Kill 5 boss monsters for victory.

+ Dragoon Ending
- Kill 33 Overlords.
- Kill 3 Lurkers
- Kill 4 Sunken Colonies
- This spawns a high level boss pack that destroys one of your towns.
* Kill 5 boss monsters for victory.

+ Cerebrate Ending.
* Kill all(4) cerebrates for victory.
- Each Cerebrate is defended by top tier zombies.
- Each Cerebrate Killed causes all zombies within the cerebrate influence to attack the area.

+ Invasion Victory
- Survive all timed Zombie invasions.
* Automatic Victory achieved by surviving an hour and forty five game minutes.

+ Invasion Mode Victory
- Survive all timed Zombie invasions.
! Invasions occur at a faster pace.
! Invasions difficulty curves more drastically then other game modes.
* Survive for 40 game minutes in invasion mode to achieve victory

Each victory will take an experienced player around 45 game minutes to complete aside from 2 timed survival victories.

This game is fun, but buggy from my experience. I played once and got a ways in then encountered a manta bird and got fucked. It said I had two lives remaining, but I never respawned. The second time I tried to play coop, but my partner's vision was off from the very start of the game, and mine turned off shortly after the beginning and I had no way to get vision back.

Edit: Upon further play, I realize the bug I experienced in the first game where I thought I didn't respawn was actually a bug with your vision off triggers. You move the civilian directly to the left of the vision off location, which actually places the civ in the location. So if you don't have the civ hotkeyed, there is no way to restore vision after you die. P2's glitch is even more egregious, I believe there's no way for them to have vision because the civ is too close to the dark location.

the light switch was implemented cheap af tbh. I never encountered perma darkness when playing with people, but that's because I would tell them to hotkey the civ. I may implement a dropship variant at some point. As for not respawning with 2 lives left that is really shitty, considering the trigger system for it is really simple, and it sounded like you were pretty far in, I will take a look to see what may have happened. If I were to guess, all of your eggs exploded at once when you died. I will be taking a look at it tonight.

I read this again, it seems as though you turned the vision off for yourself but never hot keyed the civ and that was about it. I will check player 2's light switch spawn location to see if that's working as it was before.
