Most of this stuff was copied from starcraft wikia:v'ger "space critter"
The v'ger is a critter found in space environments.
The critter was cut from the development of StarCraft, though still remains in StarEdit. Their name was changed from "v'ger" to "space critter," but remained cut from the space platform tileset just the same.
Trying to find it to perhaps see/use it.
Sally the Pilot
Sally is a terran cargo ship pilot.
Sally was originally an independent hero in StarCraft, but was cut from the game. Her data still remains in StarEdit.
Thinking I don't need the data I guess, perhaps use her for a Hero Dropship?
Grom, the Biker Merc
StarEdit files reveal a number of "merc biker" units— the concept seems to be similar to that of the vulture.Grom was originally a StarCraft independent hero character. He was cut from final release, but data still remains in StarEdit.
His forename is the same as that of Grom Hellscream, a major character from Warcraft.
I would really like to find this, perhaps when I get into

These units i assume are not placeable units on staredit, so how would I access them to perhaps... re-create them as heroes for a possible Campaign.

Neither of these have their graphical parts or script parts, or any part of them for that matter. Not even via modding would you be able to access them. At most you'd find some unused stuff (way more fun than this) but I've never seen any reference to any of these units in particular.
What you could do is find screenshots and recreate them or get a copy of the sc1 beta mpqs and recreate them from that and even so I think these units are not even beta.

I was thinking of using the Grom (Merc biker) portrait in a mission briefing, but Im not exactly sure how I could do this.
(I have yet to begin using any modding to my game)
I'm not sure how i would do this without mods.
In Classic mission briefing you can put ID:#, like ID:6541 or whatever.

Grom was placeable in early starcraft versions IIRC. I believe he was removed in SC:BW. Or I'm going crazy. I've lost the kyprion pact RPG v1.6 that had him placed, so I can't verify this. It was also 17-18 years ago that I last had this.

Some units can't be placed via triggers (anything not in staredit can't be placed via triggers but can be placed via pre-placement). Also some units will crash by default either when you look at them or as soon as they are placed on the map. Not particularly useful.
All of these units are in the death table and can be used via triggers to store deaths/flags, but a few noted in your wiki page say which can be used.
