It's been 4-5 years since I've played Starcraft or modded. What are some of the current tools? What's new in the modding community? Can someone bring me back up to speed?
I see some members from back then are still active: Farty, Corbo, poiuy_qwert. That's pretty awesome!
Pyms under development
I have source code for datedit and some compiler for it lying around but i probably won't do anything with it
firegraft patches have been updating for 1.16.1 at bwai
gptp was heavily heavily updated to include a lot of new hooks
i released some additional grp packs
i released a tool to convert percents as ints into the same fraction as a byte, and back (for randcondjmp)
that's as far as i know personally.
Where is this new GPTP? I'm glad to hear people are actually using it!
Thanks for the link to the project, I'm going to export it to GitHub since Google Code is going away. Here's the link:
https://github.com/SCMapsAndMods/general-plugin-template-projectDo the two contributors of the project have GitHub usernames that way I can link their commits and grant repo access? Also, I'll look into helping with it in anyway I can, I need to get back up to speed though.
I'm still moving over the wiki since Google did not automatically do so when I transferred to GitHub. I'm pretty impressed with how thorough it is though!
The only contact info I am aware of is their emails available through the Google Code site.
Heinnerman has been hard at work at disassembling SCBW among other people through the BWAPI project, and as far as I know, a lot of information has come down into the GPTP as well. It's pretty great, a lot of applications can be developed.

Yeah, I've been watching the BWAPI project on GitHub for almost a year now, so I'm pretty up-to-date on that.
If you have a GitHub account, you can PM me your username and I can give you write access to the GPTP repo.
I'm still working on porting the Wiki over, it's pretty extensive.
