Who's going to WoW? I've talked to Snipe outside of the forums.

I've been playing WoW for years, but I'm not so sure Oo as a WoW guild is a great idea. Funny enough I was in a random with someone from a guild called "Oo" a few days ago.

And I know I'm not the leader of this fine organization anymore, but if I was, I wouldn't promote someone who just joined to the equivalent of an "Officer" because "it's all good." He should have to earn it like the rest of us did. Then again that's assuming Oo is some sort of organization again, but it hasn't seemed like it for some time now.

Honestly, right now it's just a bunch of real life friends in Oo. I don't really want to go out and recruit until I have the rules written down. Snipe and I are writing, and sometimes re-writing the rules. It's all going to be Beta for us since neither of us have tried to really do something in Melee.

If someone more capable than myself were to join the clan, and had more reputation/higher ranked/better leadership skills, I would give them the leadership. After talking with Snipe of course.
Idk why you guys are saying Oo is going to WoW. Mavrick just happens to play WoW and Sc2.

I really want Oo to be recognized as a melee clan. That's why I'm not going to go recruit crazy.
Oh, and also, it's hard for me to recruit members when I'm only placed in bronze in the ladder. A melee clan, with a bronze ranked leader....? laughable. But to be a leader, you won't have to worry about rankings

it's not going to World of warcraft.

K wow... Oo has no affiliation to World of Warcraft.. you guys jumped to many conclusions.

I think we were jumping to the WoW conclusion since you said ReWind was manager material since he's on WoW or SC2 daily, as if the WoW thing has clout.

Also is Maverick the same person as ReWind? I was originally talking about ReWind, I have no idea who Maverick is.

Two different people. Mavrick and I pitched in to buy ReWind a copy of sc2. Now he's all into it. So we're trying to teach him the ropes.

Ohhhh. So to clarify:

I don't know why I was feeling super nostalgic today and decided to look up Clan Oo again for old time's sake. Seems that it has been dead a while. I was hoping to run into SOLAR or some other old folks from the bounding days, when I first joined.. Those were the days, besides the leadership strife or other clan drama going on. I remember way back Solar said he was working on the "History" of the clan? Did he ever get it finished? I was a little disappointed when I didn't see my name on the Past Members list. I was recruited by SOLAR back when we were still a bounding clan, around 02/03. Moved up to a mod in the channel eventually, those were some good times. I miss the trivia bots too

I miss bounds a lot, I wish they would make some really good ones for SC2.. Currently I've just been playing AoS all the time.

I was never really a map maker, and I went AWOL for a while, but when I came back, Oo was a mapmaking clan. Solar didn't require that I make a map to stay in, but he tried to teach me how to make bounds, which I got like halfway through one, before I got distracted again. lol

Glad to still see some names I recognize, even if they don't remember me. Sometimes I miss the old Bnet.
