I've been a member of SEN for 11 years, officially going to be 10 years in April. I'm pretty sure I spent most of my teenage years on SEN because of Starcraft. I thought it would be interesting to see what all the old members of SEN are currently doing.

I've been in college for nearly 7 years now. Switched majors from architecture to computer science. Currently doing officer training to become an officer in the Air Force for Cyber Ops.

I know what some people are doing, but I haven't really caught up with them.

MillenniumArmy - Engineer
Legacy(U) - Disappeared since 2013. His Roy Mustang facebook has been inactive.
Kenoli(U) - Don't know, but I know he plays DOTA 2.
Red2Blue - Pretty sure he graduated college a long time ago. I see him a lot on D2jsp and playing League of Legends.

A lot of other people from the bound making community plays League of legends.

I think I joined SEN around 2005 (if I didn't join then, I lurked then) when I was 11 or 10. I'm now 20, so through all my triumphs and failures I've spent nearly half my life using this dumb site. Now I've been in college for 3 years doing CS and will stop at nothing less than total global domination C|:^ )

Originally joined SEN on a now-forgotten account on my birthday May 15 2005.

I have never left the SEN community, be it at Maplantis or here I have always been present.

During this time I have held jobs as a gas attendant, easy tech, ET supervisor, and now sales and support tech for a company handling point of sales and system controls.

I have attempted college twice and found it to be not for me, I also have a GED since conventional education systems are not conducive to my learning process. Every piece of tech advice I've given in my years here has been from what I have been teaching myself since I fixed my first computer at 6 years old.


Being a part of SEN and its staff has given me experiences and skills that have helped me be a better worker and a better person. I would not be who I am or where I am today without you guys. I just wish more of us were still here.

I have no idea what to put here... So I guess I'll just put this here.

I joined SEN back in 2007 under the name FooFighters (I just looked it up to remember it) and I believe I was in 8th grade at the time, and now I've already been out of school for 2 years! I possibly lurked on here before though.

I've learned a lot from everyone here. I made a map that I find extremely fun... I learned a lot of nice tricks, SEN is just amazing. I feel like I made friends with some of you. That's all that matters.

Edit: 2007, not 2008. My bad.

I pretty much learned to be an asshole in SEN and that translated into real life too. I am an architect now, making my own company, managing 2 design projects atm and making budgets for some other constructions/restorations.

I joined SEN back in 2004 when I was a 13 year old kid.

I still am a kid.

Joined SEN back in 2004 when I was 15, although I didn't do much around here until v5. Currently on my last year of a degree in logistics & supply chain management. Before that I had a go at a translation degree, but I more or less dropped out in the final year after seeing how superior the programme at the English university I went on exchange to was.

I joined SEN when I was 14. I came for the tutorials and stuff, and recognized a lot of the big-name mappers that hung out here. My 10-year senniversary is on Thursday. :awesome:

Also, I'm pretty much where I was back then, but without the grade school.
9 years of mild on and off activity. I have since then become much more productive in the map making department.

I also play melodic death metal within the privacy of my home.

Being creative is fun.

I was 12 or 13/ i really don't remember when I first started out.



I made the following maps; Hyperion 2, The Undead, The Undead Coop, Realm Rpg beta, and Overlords.

Sand Wraith was never on SEN v4. Maybe some form of a zerg water unit was on SEN v4, but definitely not a Hellbourne unit from Newerth.

So yeah, been around: Graduated High School, join the Marine Corps, have worked at several construction companies and a few random stores since then. I kind of enjoy the customer interaction actually.

A few older members that haven't been around so much but I have kept in touch with: ShadowRune is a full-time father and the head cook at a restaurant. mq3 went to a university for Computer Science and is now a web developer at a marketing company. I actually ran into PanzerKavalier through V1P3R in the Marine Corps, he is staying in it for a career.

Also, I didn't know Legacy was the Roy Mustang account.

I know I was a lurker in at least 06/07 - possibly earlier - can't really remember now tbh. I've only ever really used UMS Assistance threads.

I remember SEN dying, everyone going to Maplantis - then SEN coming back, and being on both for awhile - until Maplantis died and only SEN remained.

So I was in SEN around the later years of High School. I've since finished HS, got a degree in psychological science, and now have a full time job.

All I've really done here at SEN is use it for mapping knowledge - ie its primary purpose - and hosted a couple of mapping competitions with some computer peripheral prizes. I don't really consider it as a key part of my life, but it is a part of my life. Not sure I'll ever stop using this site until (a) it shuts down or (b) I abandon mapping as a hobby.

I don't remember if I was on v4. v5 for sure, and I might have found v4 before I joined, but I don't have any memories of v4's appearance. I know I was here for Maplantis and I preferred it over SEN since it seemed to better support modding and things like OSMAP. I joined as Hydrolisk unless someone else took that name, in which case I joined as NewHydrolisk or New-/Hydrolisk.

I was here for Modcrafters but apparently not here enough since I never got the MC² tag, which has always irked me since I was trying to be active in modding at both MC and SEN.

I was in high school when I joined, or grade 8. It's been 7 years, and I was 13 at the time. Since that time I've found I don't have the heart to kill myself, finished high school with lackluster grades, managed to get into university for computer science, and get kicked out from home (and move back in). Among other things.

I hate my life and I hate SEN. Fuck you all!!!! :^)

I was one of the later users to join SEN in 2009, when I was in high school. Since then, I've enrolled in college, worked at a server company and a video game company. This summer, I'll be employed as a software consultant (I'll be building things, not dispensing advice).

Yeah... wasn't BeeR from Puerto Rico? So many people from that list that are long gone.

For my part, I joined in June of '04, back in the v3 days when the skin was all light. That must have been middle school for me, wow. Since then I've been through college, got an electrical engineering degree (and secretly just studied CS and physics), and now I code for a living in Silicon Valley. It's unclear whether I'm still really here, seeing as my first page of recent posts goes back to 2011...
