Cheers for the continued interest.
I fixed those images up, but the new SEN has made them weird - I'll have to figure that out later.
Progress on this map is slow simply because I haven't been working on it. I'm sorry. ;( I'm trying to get back into it again at the moment. Due to string limitations I have had to restructure a lot of my concepts. This was originally conceived to be one great map as a single file, but sadly there are just some limitations of Starcraft that cannot be overcome, and I would rather split my map into multiple files than to sacrifice the quality of the project itself.
I've just had a great playthrough of the beta today with two peeps from Donuts. As it stands right now, all that is stopping Act 1 from coming out is finishing off the main quest (about 3 quests to go) and creating 2 of the 3 side quests. Every other system is in place and working. I also am working on a PDF file which I will be packing with info that isn't critical to playing the game, but still helpful to getting the most out of the game. I don't want to include such info in the game itself because it will further cut into the string limit.
If you ever want to beta test, I'm online at US East, channel donuts, though I may be AFK on that channel.

So once again thank you all for the continued interest, and keep checking on this thread for the latest news!
Yep, even though I took a big break myself and didn't touch at SC at ell for a few months, I'm greatly interested in playing Act 1 of the Architect when it's done ! For this I'm planning on getting 2 friends back to SC and make them play
Each time I think of your map, I'm amazed by the trigger and mechanics mastery you put into it. There's no way SC "dies" as long as there are maps like yours, I guess
You could have done a great Naruto RPG map too with your skills
Oh, the PDF file to save some strings is great. And I'm pretty sure it will come in use.
I might try to get on Bnet some week-end in the morning, so that we can play the map again (if this helps your testing).
P.S : As far as I know, SC2 is much less limited than SC1 in everything. I'm not a SC2 mapmaker myself, but have you thought of trying to make some maps with the SC2 editor ?
I doubt it will get many replies, but I thought that Oh_Man's persistence over these many years was worthy of some extra exposure. He gave a great interview, so I recommend you all give it a read.

Awesome interview! Still as stoked for TA as ever :3 Keep up the good work, Oh_Man.
Btw, you could also post the interview on the broodwar subreddit for more exposure if you want.

Ah, good call. I'll post it in the subreddit when I get home to my computer.
I'll be glad to play the full version of Act I as soon as it's finished (and show it to some friends).
After having played an unfinished build of Act I, all I can say is that I really hope Oh_Man finds the motivation within himself to continue on to Act II. The map is great, but it's clear at the end that there's still much more story to be told. It ends at the height of the story's intrigue.
But whether or not that comes to pass, I just hope we'll get to play a finished version of Act I sometime later this year.
This map looks quite insane. Some of the spells featured in what I imagine to be cutscenes seem to be dragon ball z inspired, which I'm in favor of.
Overall, I can't imagine the amount of work it takes to get those sorts of skills to look that good, let alone during actual gameplay shown in your videos.
Truly inspiring to say the least, these are the kinds of maps that remind me why I got into mapping to begin with.
I made the following maps; Hyperion 2,The Undead, The Undead Coop, Realm Rpg beta, and Overlords.
