We continue to be impressed and thankful for the tremendous amount of participation we’ve had for our Arcade contest. Words are not enough to show off the sheer volume and talent of our Arcade community, so we thought we’d share it with this visual aide.
I really enjoy Entropy Defense, but my vote is going to Ahli's map. Even though Diablo is not my kind of game, I still apprecaite the huge amount of work he has put into it. [And it actually was interesting and funny to see what one can accomplish with the help of the editor] This map is like one of the best examples to show the power of Blizzard's tool.

The map I have been working on is listed in there: look for "Star Party". I'll be listed as a contributor or just nothing most probably because there is a clause that prevents Quebec residents from entering this contest.
The website is still under production, and I don't think the map is released publically yet. http://www.playstarparty.com/
Not sure what "NS" means (next to the authors' names); "not submitted" is all I can think of.
How does the voting work? How do they eliminate participants? I do see how Ahli deserves votes, if not deserves to win this competition right away, but I sure do hope his project will leave ours a few votes. I kinda wish they wouldn't allow maps that were started before the contest was announced because there are a lot of really good submissions in there. Diablo, NOTD, MageCraft, etc.: ouch!
I'm not sure but I think it's something like Blizzard takes these top maps and whittles them down to a top 10, then the public votes on the 10 to creat a top 5, then Blizzard selects the winner. It's not really a public vote, more like "submit your map and we pick our favorite".

Anyone else can confirm this? Ahli possibly knows more?

Sad to see Ahli's map not being there. It is either because they dislike the idea of seeing 'Dia blo' in there or because every game in the top ten is incredibly fast-paced. None of these seem to have any game-depth; they are just like: click start, enjoy. Not good to see such a low level of variety in the final submissions. Impossible Bosses or Ultimate Boss Battles? Or any of the other 5-8 PvP arenas with a game length of around 5 minutes?
Only one that looks a bit more promising is Star Party.

If StarParty wins this contest, your beloved payne will get a third of the money-prize (I plan on giving back a good bunch of my part to my partners since they had to work hard without me during the last month of production). Voting for Star Party means funding payne's travels AND promoting a good map!
I like how Falling Tiles made it into the top ten, despite being completely unoriginal and incredibly easy to make.
GridFall is ridiculous: I cannot believe it made it through. Not to mention StarParty had "Avoid A Void" as a remixed Falling Tiles already made before I saw that map for the first time.
As Devourer said, it is a shame Ahli's map did not make it in there. Or Tessera, even, looked promising too. Designating GridFall as being more valuable than those two maps is quite bold.
I meant to ask earlier, but why aren't you listed as an author on Star Party?
The contest did not allow the citizens from Quebec, among other States and Provinces, to participate. We were unsure if it meant even being helped, if it meant only for the official authors/submitters. Thus, the final decision was definitely moving toward the safety side.
We're proud to present the top ten Arcade games for our StarCraft II "Rock the Cabinet" contest. Now we need your help to nominate the final five. Check out and play the games below, and vote for your favorite in our poll.
You will find the voting poll into the link (just above) provided as the source. On a personal note, I would like to express my disappointment in regards to not seeing Ahli's Diablo map as being part of the selected Top 10. I am, however, quite excited to see that Star Party was selected, and definitely hope it will get the First Prize.
N.B. I stole Devlin's template for the RTC contest. I am using this Nota Bene to thank and credit him for it.

I like how StarParty would not beneficiate from nearly anything for the 1st prize. I hope they don't discriminate it for that when they select the first place.
