I have actually recently tried to play Metroid Prime 2 again with the help of that, but, god that does not really work well.
The game simply is designed for a good old NGC controller; keyboard feels awkward.

If you're interested in playing games on an emulator, get a controller that you can connect to your PC. They make adapters for GC controllers, but the Xbox 360 controller makes one of the best gamepads for any game, and its connector is already a USB.

I miss switching weapons to the situation, but finding new ways to use the old ones was a nice treat too. If anything, I didn't like the sound that the Plasma Beam made when you charged it. It sounded gawd awful.
