Yer it does seem easy, you've massively buffed up the defenses, I didn't have to do anything for the first couple missions as the zombies hadn't even breached the perimeter at that point.

I think it would be a tad insulting to call it the next version X but I do feel you did lean that way with a lot of the changes. Such as all the holes in the wall so people don't have to walk the long way to heal, and the buffed defenses.
However, I did very much like how you fixed the annoying heal position and how you would accidently walk on things trying to go to the armoury, I've copied those fixes to my version.

My version is basically the original Panzer version with the tiniest of modifications. I've kept it very minimalistic I have basically tried to just fix glitches and added quests (I can't remember if I actually added quests or just fixed broken ones). Then I added basically a second ending, a good and bad ending. Bad is you fly away and leave Raccoon City to the nuclear blast, good is you defuse the bomb.

I wish you didn't protect it, I'm having a tough time reading the side quests you added without any comments.
It looks like your side quests were getting civilians out of the sewers and a crashed helicopter evac, which is cool.

I checked the triggers of mine, here is what I had:

This is the sewer mission which unlocks the AWS inside the armoury. You need to get the SCV from the Garbage Truck mission to be able to open the sewer gate. The commando's dialogue and AWS unlock was Panzer's, but I did the sewer gate dialogue. As far as I could tell there was no way to enter the sewers.

This happens late in the game, it unlocks the final supply depot and allows you to build vehicles. I'm fairly sure this was done by Panzer, but it was just bugged and unable to be started - I just restored functionality.

This unlocked the M-21, but not in the armoury - you had to walk over to this spot at the Communication's Centre and your unit would 'equip' the M-21, similar to how it worked in Bob's Guns with the marine reward there for saving him.
I triggered and dialogued this quest from scratch, I believe. It was a reward for keeping the Communication's Centre alive, it happens very late game. A heli crash rescue quest sounds much cooler though!

This was the bonus ending I added in after the countdown timer expired. Basically the players had two choices, take the helicopter at the RPD and fly away (the easy ending, but also the 'bad' ending), or fight their way west, kill zombies and UBCS soldiers and defuse the bomb (much harder, especially if you are already barely clinging on at this point, but the 'good' ending.)

Hmm well that was a neat trip down memory lane. Can't wait to play this tomorrow at the LAN though.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. A group of my friends have been getting together lately and hammering out all the old LAN party classics, so I've taken the time to compile a list of our favorites and present them to you. Some amazing times have been had, let me tell you.

If you can think of some glaringly obvious omission, please, let me know so I can add it to my list. Note that most of my friends are casual Starcraft players (read: very complicated maps are more trouble than they're worth), so know I've tried to keep that in mind.

When do you plan on having this event? I am in the works of creating a Golem style map with specials and a few other things. I could possibly finish it this weekend if I had the motivation to do so.

Also,

If you are interested in Bounds I could provide you with my Flash Bound 2 map I created awhile back. Both maps are 4 player games, the bound is a 2v2 race where the golem map is 1v1v1v1 or allied if you chose to do so.

If they like casual UMS, I would suggest Mario Kart. Definitely play a couple rounds of Blood Pressure Marathon, my friends seemed to love that map.

If they liked Infinite Shift, my Jog maps are casual games of the same genre. Also, 6-Way Sunken Defense is a staple. Hide and Seek maps may also be worth at least a half hour of fun.

I have no idea what to put here... So I guess I'll just put this here.

You can always try my new map. Just got new quests and everything into it.
Plus, I need people to test the multiplayer out on it... It sucks when you don't have internet to do stuff.
It is a zombie map. It has a lot of features. Every game will be different... Since 95% of everything is randomized. (Excluding terrain and weapons)
