How do I make my melee map have Blizz (blue logo) infront like the other blizzard maps that came wiith SC/BW? Thanks in advance.
None.

Uh if I understand you correctly you mean the video with the Blizzard logo that appears when you start sc? There's no way to integrate that into a map. You'd have to make a mod and simply run the smk when this map is selected.
I guess he meant the small blue icon in front of the mapname, which you can see on the battle-net when having a game selected (in the join-area) which has a standard scbw 1versus1 (and the like) map hosted.
As far as I know, it is impossible to implement that icon to your custom map.
I tried it once, and even editing the standard maps by blizzard will remove the icon, but that had been a while now and I can not tell for sure, so you would be better off trying that by yourself, if desired.
EDIT:
Nuderaider, here is what my bet is he meant:

Yeah this icon is for genuine Blizzard maps only.
The lack of good information in this thread took me by surprise. Authentication is
supposed to be for genuine Blizzard maps, yet you see some games with them, typically games made by a "hacker" to let us know that's he's
immature owned someone and/or us.
Authentication is done by including a special .cnd file to the MPQ. If you open up one of those Blizzard maps in an MPQ viewer, you'll see those files in there. For example, (2)Challenger.scm has blizzard_2.cnd, (4)Lost Temple.scm has Ladder_4.cnd.
Now, if you save the map in StarEdit, SCMDraft 2, or most editors, it doesn't write .cnd files and the authentication is lost, which makes sense because you edited the map and it is no longer authentic. You have to put the .cnd file there manually or use a program to do it for you. There is probably a more modern program that does this, but the only program that I know of that can forge authenticity is
Scm Toolkit, which hasn't even been updated since 2002 to give you an idea of its age.
Now, the issue with forging authentication is that StarCraft itself is programmed to only work with a predefined list of authentic maps. So, once you forge the authenticity, don't plan on playing your map with other people unless you're both using mods to change the list of authentic maps, which is beyond my knowledge. It's also why editors in general do not write the .cnd files when saving and don't even include the option to forge credentials.
SCMDraft 2.0 lets you save as Blizzard official, but that makes it unplayable over Battle.net.
You know, I really thought that it did. I looked through the program, but couldn't find it and decided that I must be crazy. (well, confirmed it, I already knew.) Would you remind me where you go to do that in there?
Open up an already-certified map, make a canvas/resize as necessary, and save as.
Does anyone here know how to mod sc to change the list of authentic maps?
None.
